UM-Bot Posted May 9, 2005 #1 Share Posted May 9, 2005 It's hard to believe now, but not too many years ago, few people outside of Nevada had ever heard of Area 51, the secret military base that turns 50 years old this month. All of that changed in 1989 when KLAS-TV aired a series of reports about alleged alien technology being tested in and around the Groom Lake facility. The UFO stories changed Area 51 forever, and spawned all sorts of spin-offs. View: Full Article | Source: KLAS-TV

Princessvala Posted June 25, 2005 #3 Share Posted June 25, 2005 The guy (Bob Lazar) sounds a little crazy, But his background does support his statements. 612350 I lived in Pahrump, Nv., the only town in America (I would assume), that has the population of more than 42,000 people and is not incorporated;still run by a town board consisting of 6 "Good Ol Boys". Had the same Sherriff for 13 years with plenty of corruption to go along with it. But Area 51 is very close to this town, where for the first few years the one and only grocery store Smiths Food King required you to have a "Fresh Value Card" to purchase anything.. the only hardware store and pharmacy soon followed suit with this card thing. Some type of tracking ???? .A town that when I first moved there only had one satellite and when I left in Sept. 2000 had three of them. A town that every person's water source was a well. Your well tapped into the world's third largest aqua fir in the world, tapped into water that I swore had to have some type of contamination from the Mercury test site aka A51. I know this has to affect people, my daughter at 13 yrs old, 2 years after we moved away from there, her Dr. found lumps in her breast... not only is this VERY young, but neither my family or her fathers family has any history what so ever of any type of cancer. I saw weird things, unexplanable lazers, there was a 5 years span that each year in March and October the whole town (population was around 10,000 -14,000) would become very agitated, paranoid and just not the same...this would last just a little over 2 weeks and then things would mellow out. A town full of Wackenhut surveillance vehicles. A place where a very good friend of mine was sure someone had been in her house, for weeks felt as though someone was watching her, to the point she was afraid to sleep at her house alone. One night she stayed at her mother's.... The next day she came over and was really freaked out she said she felt that something had happened to her, but she didn't know what? She did know that she had a really sore throat, not like sick but the soreness you get when they used anesthesia, she did show me the place on her hand at the base of her palm. The three tiniest dots. She thought maybe it had been a spider bite, but in all my years I have never known a spider that could leave a bite marks . . . shaped like a triangle.. Just messin with her I made the comment ewww, I bet your abducted by aliens, which really upset her, after quite a bit of coaxing I was able to find out that the reason the comment upset her so much was that her grandmother and mother both had the same mark when they were younger and now her... I do believe in the fact that there is other life in the universes, but wonder if it wasn't more government testing of sorts or something... I haven't been all around the world like a lot of people have but I have lived in several states and quite a few cities both large and small. But Pahrump, Nevada is like no other place I have ever lived. I wanted to leave there so many times, there was really no work and a lot people with no self esteem or direction, but it was like I couldn't leave and everyone I knew that did leave always came back, even ones that had committed crimes and were running from the law there? came back I don't know, only what I saw and heard and what I didn't see or hear but just knew! MMMMM, Wine! 699940 Maybe free booze? that'd keep most there! 700148 That's funny.....I remember when the Winery opened they printed this article in the wantabe newspaper there saying this is a "winery" not a beer and shot saloon. "Right, whatever, first of all it's in Pahrump, and how quickly they have a memory loss, the guy that opened it(I shouldn't say opened it he was a "silent" partner, used to be the owner of the "Saddle West Casino" there, but had a run in with the IRS and some embezzlement issue... one of those unclear type of situations.... And in Pahrump ANYTHING free draws a them out! This site hasn't been updated in awhile, not sure why not, maybe the new sherriff who knows but....
