Essan Posted June 11, 2005 #26 Share Posted June 11, 2005 Having sex, other than purely for procreations, is, I think we all agree, natural. Using a condom to prevent the transmission of disease whilst having sex is not natural...... ......in the same way as washing our hands with soap is not natural. Or using suncream to protect our skin is not natural

Or using suncream to protect our skin is not natural like i said , im not saying using condoms is natural. but as i said we dont live in the middle ages. modern day solutions to modern day problems. if we all didnt have sex we'd be so frustated and repressed that wed go around like maniacs. If you are even slightly hinting what i think you are then your a total disgrace. sex abuse is the most disgusting thing an adult can do. Sarcasm.I m sure you heard of it. Having sex, other than purely for procreations, is, I think we all agree, natural. No.Unless you see some mokeys using condoms there is nothing natural in using sex as a stress reliever. wunarmdscissor Posted June 11, 2005 #39 Share Posted June 11, 2005 no they arent ? they are just our closest relatives but they are nowhere near as intelligent as us. we create solutions to problems that they never could. condoms is one. long distance travel by aeroplanes is another. a washing machine is another. a computer is another. wunarmdscissor Posted June 11, 2005 #40 Share Posted June 11, 2005 no XAS i dont think we are. its along the same principle. the church are claiming they shouldnt have sex as its bad for themn and condoms are unnatural. but then the pope drives about in his car ? wunarmdscissor Posted June 11, 2005 #42 Share Posted June 11, 2005 all of the things i listed are bad for you ? but we still do it? why should we be allowed to do these and africans cannot have sex.?
wunarmdscissor Posted June 11, 2005 #43 Share Posted June 11, 2005 as you see XAS im pointing out that something being unnatural is not automatically a bad thing. Anyway it runs deeper. its the church attempting to exert control as it always has done. now the only place it can really do that is in africa becuase education levels are so low they are deprived of choice. and the church bloody knows this. so instead of helping them they perpetuate the misery which allows them to perpetuat the control. thats my honest view. ive never been a fan of the catholic church and im not much of a fan of religion in general. but no other religion seems to want to put its members in quite so much risk as the papal one. NO to most of them. AIDS will kill you,no matter what you do. Smoking will kill you, right. But I don t smoke anyway. Driving won t kill you if you are a good driver. Power lines didn t kill me so far. Mobile phone the same. Wireless internet access? Alcohol doesn t kill you,but it s no good either. Drugs=Smoking Kissing.......Again I m not dead so far. Sex.......What do you think? Fast food...Same as kissing ,powerlines etc. The difference is: Things like power lines ,mobile phones etc don t kill you. They hurt you but they don t kill you.The effects are temporary, not permanent. wunarmdscissor Posted June 11, 2005 #45 Share Posted June 11, 2005 so cancer is temporary is it? mobile phones, wireless internet access , power lines, microwaves , car exhaust fumes , alchohol and the rest all have been found to cause cancer. a disease like aids which kills you slowly. caused in many cases by an indulgence in modern technology. do we decry people with cancer and tell them its their own fault, they should move to the hills and live like pagans? no. so why should africans be treated in that way? Commander CMG Posted June 11, 2005 #48 Share Posted June 11, 2005 I fully agree with you wun, although some responsibility on the decision to use a condom should be with the lemmings that follow the popes every word, I thiink it is sad they listen to some old guy that is so far detached from reality it is unreal. wunarmdscissor Posted June 11, 2005 #49 Share Posted June 11, 2005 yeah but the point i made is that the reason its such a problem in africa is that the education is just not their. thats why we dont listen to him and they do. i mean how many western catholics follow the popes advice lol. im willing to bet the percentage aint that high. Hopefully teh Live 8 events and G8 summit marches will raise awareness and political change to such an extent that africans no longer are deproved of their basic rights. the right of choice.
