BurnSide Posted June 14, 2005 #2 Share Posted June 14, 2005 Very rare it is that a picture is taken that one may find beautiful and terrible at the same time.

Snowbaby Posted June 14, 2005 #6 Share Posted June 14, 2005 (edited) Nice one MM, it truly is stunning. Strange how the weather can be so confused (bit like me really), like in that photo, sun rain (causing rainbow) and... tornado, all at the same time Us in Scotland etc, really don't have any idea just how frightening these tornadoes can be, and no offence, I'd rather keep it that way! _Nyx_ Posted June 15, 2005 #11 Share Posted June 15, 2005 That is so surreal! I saw something similar when I was about 7 one summer at my grandma's house....sticks in your mind! Beautiful & terrifying!
Hoagy Posted June 15, 2005 #12 Share Posted June 15, 2005 looks like the tornado is gonna try and suck up the rainbow, a very impressive piccy!
eveningsky339 Posted June 15, 2005 #13 Share Posted June 15, 2005 That's like the coolest thing ever. A few days ago there was a huge black cumulonimbus cloud (thunderhead) near my house. It was on one side, the sun was shining brightly on the other. It started raining when the sun was out. That was freaky.

smallpackage Posted June 21, 2005 #18 Share Posted June 21, 2005 Why does the tornado not match up with the overall lighting in the image? Just a bit..strange. Nice though.
Undefined_innocence Posted June 23, 2005 #19 Share Posted June 23, 2005 I think the color matches wonderfully. The tornado has yet to touch the ground it looks like, so it has yet to pick up dust and debris. Oh.. and hey.. LOOK! Its a ROD!! Eh.

mishalee Posted July 9, 2005 #24 Share Posted July 9, 2005 The pic looks a little odd. There's alot of sunlight present during this storm (too much, considering the ominous clouds) but the pic is beautiful nonetheless.
