Soldier's mom protests near Bush's ranch

I am so sick of our media playing to the left.

The "Liberal Media" is practically nonexistant. Name a channel besides CNN that you would consider "Liberal".

There is something wrong with our MEDIA! Eighty percent of our troops back our president and they are proud of what they do.

... Are you aware of how badly treated liberals are in the military? I'm pretty sure I'd say I supported Bush too, if I knew it would keep my unit from turning on me (and if I werei n the army).

The country backs the president

I'm sorry, go look up the stats. Bush's approval ratings are quite low at the moment (Plus, the Republican party does not constitute "the country").

and we are proud of our troops.

Yeah, most people are, Liberal or Conservative. So what?

But to hear it from the media we are on the brink of 'a

MARCH'.   rolleyes.gif  wacko.gif

o_O come again?

796317

796570

At the moment his ratings are low?? You are going by polls?? laugh.gif DEMCRATIC HYPE. Our media is liberal on most of tv, the only conservative voice is radio. Now the liberals are starting up liberal radio stations ohmy.gif and the people here are tired of hearing this. disgust.gif People around the world are reading too much into the democratic hype and then you 'bunch of liberals' come on here and pretend that this is how our country is (of course, pointing to the democratic hype).

All this hype, all this goings-on with this poor mom, who lost her son, is a push for the White House. The Dems want to get back into the White House.

Why does SHE have the right to be p***ed off?.... Her son made the decision to join the military.... not her.

you just don't get it, probably because you're lucky enough not to have lost a son.

she has allready lost everything. and her husband obviously does not feel the loss of his son that she does.

someone has lost their life for no good cause whatsoever.

and i'd be proud of any family member that stood up to the government to tell them so.

do you have kids?

you watch them grow, you invest your soul, love and time into their lives, so hopefully they move on and set up shop in their own chunk of the world.

and if by some accident, or misfortune they die, then you mourn and try to understand the cause of their death.

and if that cause, as in this selfish move by bush and his big buck backers, to invade iraq, makes no sense, then you have every right to be p***ed off that a few selfish old men, made a stupid decidion that lead to the death of your child.

if you have a child, it's very easy to undersatnd.

Her son was an adult and capable of making his own decisions and determining his own destiny....

I am glad to know that my parents would not disgrace my memory with the nonsense and ignorant way that she is treating her son's memory!

Have you lost a child...?.. and to war of some type?..

Spoken like a true liberal leftist!!!

Now the Psycho is stating that she will not pay taxes!! Geesh lady .. get a LIFE!!! rolleyes.gif

As she continues her anti-war protest, Cindy Sheehan is labeling President Bush a "maniac" and a "lying b******," and she's vowing not to pay her federal income tax.

"My son was killed in 2004. I am not paying my taxes for 2004," Sheehan told an audience of Veterans for Peace. "You killed my son, George Bush, and I don't owe you a penny. ... You give my son back and I'll pay my taxes. Come after me [for back taxes] and we'll put this war on trial."

Can you believe this rubbish of Iraqi freedom when America funded saddam in the first place? They got him to do the dirty work (war with Iran) then got rid of him. Let’s see same thing happened in Afghanistan. the first war with Iraq you destroy the infrastructure, bridges, water and electricity supply....then slam on sanctions to cripple the country then invade it but again destroy the infrastructure so American companies can go there to rebuild it take the Iraqi oil as payment. as business in American fill in the bank accounts from the price of rebuilding and the control of Iraqi oil. Please don't insult the intelligence of the Iraqi people they know you funded the tyrant and then stole and still are stealing their oil...give them the choice which country rebuilds Iraqi if you call it Iraqi freedom. they didn’t say come and invade our country I’m sure they would rather have saddam in power again then a outside force take over there country.

i hear bush is a bit of a idiot do you Americans want to be freed by Iraqi solders coming over and controlling America...what no then don't be stupid enough to think Iraqi people want you Americans over there. Iraqi people love there country just like you love yours and would live with there own people with there own problems and not have America impose there ideas on them with force! Who is the tyrants now!

This is what her son died for! Money control and power. .....sick killing the innocent for this

"she's trying to promote her personal agenda "at the expense of her son's good name and reputation."

This quoted by his family members in the story link I posted in my previous reply.

Seems to me... all of his family except HER.. say that he was proud to be serving in the military! wink2.gif

I don't need to get hit by a truck to know it hurts. The mentality that you've had to have lost a son to understand this is asinine. Thinking that it's all about oil is asinine. Not understanding that she's being spoonfed to the public, that she's another tool being used by the left, is asinine. Thinking that she's got majority support, is asinine.

Her grief is real. Emotional people do stupid things. The ones reporting it are worse, much worse.

If the naysayers would get behind the effort, we'd be out already. Where's that story about the AP not reporting the correct news out of Iraq? Everyone coming back from Iraq saying a totally different story than what's reported and the AP guy says well, it's because we don't go out on the streets much. So they write a story in their little hotel room, get the most grisly stats they can find to back it up, and that's what we get. That's ALL we get. But our brothers, our sons, our co-workers come back and say a totally different story. EnMasse. Private contractors as well as military. So they go ask why the disparity and they say it's cause they don't go out much. Yet people still believe them. And yeah there's a huge cover up by the left about the 9/11 commission and the left's failure to protect us, because they were too busy trying to implement socialism, which again in the long term only spreads misery equally.

and my point.... no one will know for sure because he's dead.

and he died for no good reason.

and ms sheehan is within her right as the mother of a dead soldier, to express her anger.

and calling her looney, and all the other b******s, is just a right wing smokescreen to discredit her loss.

the rest of the family doesn't support her!!!? so what!!!?

that's how she feels, let her do it, and respect that she has a right to greive anyway she sees fit.

I agree Celumnaz... the Media are having a hay day with this woman... and seem to be feeding her cause... and her emtotions... causing her to persue her agenda more aggressively and causing more misery... to herself and the country.

I don't think that if the media hadn't made such a big deal of what she is doing... she would have backed away from it a long time ago... but in her greiving state... she is loving the attention... (people who are greiving need attention)... and is driven by the support to keep going at it...

And in the long run .. what has she done... lost her husband... family... and disgraced her son.. and disrespected him as a man and soldier!! Sad.. truly sad.

The media is not on her side... really... the media is using her... and one day she will see.. but it will be too late hmm.gif

but this is not even a war.

it's a hostile takeover, an invasion.

a police action.

a coup.

a game of "risk" played with the lives of young americans, instead of brightly coloured pieces of plastic, although i'm not sure bush sees the difference.
