indeed Posted September 17, 2005 #52 Share Posted September 17, 2005 I can think of something much more annoying Blackleaf, and im sure alot of people will agree I see you note australia on the soccer bettings, what does that have to do with anything . Incase you didn't realise its not a popular sport over here, only a very few play it outside of school. and I can guarantee you everyone in australia will tell you we have a lousy soccer team compared to the world Im trying to see your point but im not getting it, but im sure its clear in your head ... right ? Blackleaf Posted September 17, 2005 #53 Share Posted September 17, 2005 just looking at the top ten just now i would say all of them will qualify. remember england arent even leading their group. 848590[/snapback] We are second, and if we finish second we will qualify automatically because we will almost definietely be the best second-place team. So, to the rest of the world. your cricket team is lousy big time.
Blackleaf Posted September 17, 2005 #55 Share Posted September 17, 2005 (edited) We are second, and if we finish second we will qualify automatically because we will almost definitely be the best second-place team. So finishing 2nd is no problem for England because we will still qualify without having to play in the play-offs. As things stand, out of all the teams that are in 2nd-place in their respective groups, England have the best record. nick_fury Posted September 17, 2005 #56 Share Posted September 17, 2005 But if that happens our seeding will be lower and...goodbye cushy group stages against the likes of Norway or China. We'll be put in with a couple of group winners, the likes of France, Holland, Brazil etc.

So, to the rest of the world. your cricket team is lousy big time. Want me to dig up all your teams great losses, what about just a year and a half ago all out for only 88 Doesn't sound like the worlds best cricket team does it ? ahh but thats right, they employed an Aussie to help them out and built a cricket academy modelled on the one in Adelaide. Thats got to sting doesn't it, asking an aussie to show you how to play cricket Back to your regular program .....

Subtemperate Posted September 18, 2005 #59 Share Posted September 18, 2005 Ok, I've had completely enough of this my country is better garbage that keeps getting posted. I, as are many of the people here, are getting tired of being told how arrogant they are, or how much better the other countries in the world are at certain things then ours..... Sport has something called "sportsmanship" and if many of the teams of the countries represented by some posters here showed that level of sportsmanship, then they would never be a great team, as a great team enspires and tries to lift the sport as a whole, not degrade the competition.... This thread is to be closed, as it adds nothig to this subject. Thankyou. Subby
