__Kratos__ Posted September 25, 2005 #3 Share Posted September 25, 2005 but isnt it un-american to criticise the government? Isn't it stupid to assume? China has been doing this for a while. Not to long ago they put up rules for forums and blogs.
pallidin Posted September 25, 2005 #4 Share Posted September 25, 2005 China does not have "free speech" and considers such to be a direct and intimate threat, as the peoples of China do not rule China rather, the government of China rules its people. iaapac Posted September 25, 2005 #5 Share Posted September 25, 2005 What about the Florida professor (middle eastern origin) who stated in a class that the attack on the WTC was justified in the middle eastern mentality because the Jihad is a call to be honored by all Muslims and was arrested for those comments? Free speech?

Free speech? FBI charges Florida professor with terrorist activities TAMPA, Florida (CNN) -- A Florida college professor identified as a fund raiser and organizer for a Palestinian terrorist group blamed for killing two Americans -- and many others -- was arrested Thursday and charged along with seven other people with racketeering and conspiracy to commit murder. See, why look at that! He wasn't arrested for speaking his mind. You just love to make stuff up and believe it, don't you iaapac? Try facts once in a while, you just might like it. I am me Posted September 26, 2005 #7 Share Posted September 26, 2005 What is funny is that Communist China is becoming more free (actually more free than the USA in many ways) and we are becoming more socialist in nature. And yes, it does seem to be looked down upon in the USA when you criticize the government. Aren't they forming porn squads now in the FBI to go after the kid porn? Just wait, we'll be worse than China is now. And quite frankly, China is pretty good.

I am me Posted September 27, 2005 #9 Share Posted September 27, 2005 Perhaps I misunderstood your comments, but I thought that going after kid porn is a good thing. kid porn is nothing more than illegal sex acts caught on film. what is illegal about viewing or having that? it may be sick to you, but somebody else out there may want it. as for making the porn...if you choose to do it, then you choose to do it. if you are forced into it, that should be illegal. molesting should be illegal as it is. Kismit Posted September 27, 2005 #10 Share Posted September 27, 2005 My view on the subject of child pornography is... if you support it in any way shape or form you should be jailed and thrown in with the Big boys. Simple enough, I hate complicated rules. Now what was the actual topic again?
