Do false memories explain alien abductions ?

Do you have memories of being abducted by aliens and whisked away in a spaceship? You wouldn't be alone. Several thousand people worldwide claim to have had such close encounters, researchers say.

But in a new study, a psychology expert at London's Goldsmiths College says these experiences are proof of the frailty of the human memory, rather than evidence of life in other galaxies.

What man does not understand, he likes to "explain" way. As child(age 5-7), in Washington state, I and others in my neighborhood played with small aliens in my parents orchard. They would climb trees with us and sit and ask many questions. We talked telephathically. This would go on only in the summer months and only 3 or 4 times per summer for about 2 summers. When they weren't around, we would laugh and talk about them and pretend we were them. We would try to talk telepathically and found we couldn't do it unles they were around. So when they did show up, it was a great treat to us. We loved there company. Interestingly, I have had contact with the same childhood friends who, as adults, still claim to still be "in contact" in some way. Some paralysis, huh? :tu:

Okay, let's say that "false memories" are part of the people remembering alien abductions. But what if there is physical evidence?

I dunno...I'll just throw out this example. Like maybe someone is missing their appendix or a kidney, but yet they have had NO such surgery. How do he explain that one? :hmm:

I know that the brain/mind is a powerful & wonderfully constructed organism, but can it make another organ vanish? Don't think so.

I'm on the fence about alien & alien abductions...I've heard different things. I'm not sying positively that they exsist, but nor am I saying "no way". The universe is far too large. We know NADA in the sceme of things.

:alien: i do beleive in extraterrestrial abductions, and i do beleive they have real memories...THIS is strictly classified to the people who have scars, and missing bodily fluids, or possibly organs, and any missing segments of body tissue...

because i would classify only them, is because they would have developed these physical symptoms of being abducted, and also meanig they possibly have elapsed time in their complaints...if these people are being subjected to experiments anyways, whjy wouldn't they have any type of physical evidence?

but, for those who aren't possessing any physical evidence, i beleive its possible they are having false memories, BUT only if this is proven by a professional such as a hypnotist who can help you recall any missing memories...

Lets not forget about one of the most famous cases of all,"Betty and Barney Hill".

Things to think about:

1) First real case involing greys. not to many reports like this before if any.

2) This sleep thing dose not explain how two people can share similar experiances.

3) How can somone fall asleep or be paralyzed in a car while driving and not crash.

Yes we all have dreams most are not vivid are we forget them very quickly.

So if sleep sleep paralysis was the reason I think it would be more common.

Another thing if this is true then, why Aliens why not pink elephants or Killer clowns.

4)Why are abtucttees stories similair to each other. My own dreams are never the twice

Lets look at the facts for what they are. Dont be fooled by poeple with Big cradentails
