[Merged] The Bosnian Pyramid Thread

Damn these walls, stone slabs or orthogonal joints looking pathways :) (sarcasam)

Great pics! thanks for posting them. Those look like walls to me, also. I'm still iffy about some of the pathways. Possible they could have built a structure on a foundation laid by nature, exposed at the time of building? Looks like we're finding out. I was disappointed to see how some of the paths resembled stress joints, but these new pics with the walls have made my day.

My problem with people saying that a pyramid, (or some other structure if it may be so), not fitting into the scheme of history is that history has had to continually revised over the years when new discoveries have been made. I don't know why this would be an exception.

Keep the pics coming, guys, very interesting.

Bosanchero, you live in a very beautiful place, looked at the links you sent and checked more on the net.

So the only evidence of it being a pyramid is the shape of the hill? most of the stone work looks natural to me, am i right in thinking there was a fortress, town etc. on this hill? if so i would be more of a mystery if they didn't find some evidence of occupation, Even if it is a pyramid i don't see why it would have to have any connection with pyramids in other countries, most early civilisations worshiped the sun, if you want to build a high building to get closer to it, pyramid shape is the easiest, the last picture showing a bit of wall in the hill side, to say this is the doorway to a pyramid is way over the top, it's probably a retaining wall at the back of a homestead that was cut into the side of the hill, that's if it's man made of course.

Sure, whatever you say.

In case you did not get it, it is not only about the pyramid anymore. Does it look different from the Egyptian pyramid? YES. Does the Egyptian pyramid look different from the Mexican? YES. That's the point. Both are still pyramids, and so is the new one in Europe.

As I said, it is not the question anymore is it a pyramid or not. The question is now how old this pyramidical structure is and who buillt it?

Just immagine. WHAT if it is older than 10.000 Years?

In that case all those " MAYBES " ( right on brother Louie ) in Archeologie and History have to be considered the only truth spoken and written by the specialist.

You must admit, however, that with people living in this area for tens of thousands of years, a lot of stone has been worked and a lot of buildings have been built. You shouldn't say that everything belongs to the pyramid complex just because it is near one of the pyramid hills or in the immediate valley. The Romans built roads, kings built fortresses and monuments and the common people have been building homes out of stones for thousands and thousands of years.

A dig should not be scientifically accepted as part of the pyramid complex unless it is dated or somehow linked to the main digs on the pyramid hills. Such as if the stones are of the same size, composition or shape.

Some experts say that this new dig at the Pyramid of the Moon could be a doorway and it will be very exciting to find out if it is or not, but as heterodoxly says, it could be a retaining wall. I've seen dozens of concrete walls that served the same purpose. And as I've said earlier in this post, people have been living there and building homes for tens of thousands of years.

if this is a pyramid it may also be older than 10000 or 20000 years.

Maybe it was there even before the iceage!!!!!!! who knows....

You appear to be ignoring any occupation of the hill from 200-1000 years ago?

yes, and you apear to be ignoring the fact that this is 2nd hill with pyramidal shape everyone said was BS, yet it apears that ANYWHERE they dig on any of these hills they run into same type of material, and same type of hand work,

it also apears that even if its not a pyramid, our dear archeology departmant in europe should consider going back to school and learning, because no matter what this is IT AIN'T no natural hill, and the pathways AINT natural ohh and these walls sure as hell AINT natural,,, unless by nature they mean MAN MADE !!!:yes::yes::yes:

Nice to see this thread alive again. :) You know what I mean. :) I listened to Osmanagich on TV and what he has told there wasn't unlogical nor delusional at all. He started international verification of the pyramid and so far it is going very well. I hope he'll suceed. :)

Did he talk about the Mayas coming from another planet, settling Atlantis and then moving to the Americas?

"Prof.Dr.Ric.Geol. Dario Andretta, chairman of the Humanitarian University for the Multidisciplinary International Culture (Rome), announced that this evidence puts beyond doubt the existence of a true pyramid at this site."

Impressive titles but except for the PhD, he awarded them to himself, as his 'university' is not recognised by Italy and can't give Italian degrees -- he set it up himself, gave himself his titles. He did do a PhD in geology and may have done other work in geology but recently he seems to be concentrating on promoting his private 'university' and working in the field of safety, risk management and quality control of the work environment.

I assume it's been posted on here to be debated? I've yet to see anything to convince me it's of any historical importance let alone a pyramid, I'd love it to be a pyramid but i need some evidence.

ohh no no no i dont want any more debates, on this subject, why because there is no evidence to point one or the other way, they can digg up whole hill and sceptics will always say its just a building, untill hills are completlly uncovered,

so far there would be no debate just us stating our opinions :)

I just find it rather interesting that everywhere these teams started digging they ran into something :w00t: dont you find that at least a bit interesting, they digged at visocica than they started digging few houndred meters away on a different hill that looks like pyramid and whoooolllaaa they run into these primitive walls, and "Pathways" :)

Seems like we ( the one who believe it is a pyramid ) are getting sometimes a little bit touchy when we read a negativ opinion. It shouldn't be that way. No realy.

I believe it is one, or two or more, or at least a pyramidical structure, unknown to us untill now.

The way I look at it is, it is getting more difficult to prove that it is not an anciant monument.

So for now I can actually lay back and enjoy the excavation. B)

one on visocica could, and that one no longer interests me, lol

i am very interested in the second pyramid/hill the one that is called pyramid of moon, (i am talking about one with pathways and this wall) to my recolection no1 lived near this place, there is no known evidence of town or anything like that, plus it look more like pyramid than visocica, lol, i am still waiting for more evidence, but i stay optimisitc :)

Thanks for the tunnel pic. I hope they find more evidence there.

It is true that A LOT of the stuff dug up looks man made. For Harding to just dismiss it was really stupid. The Egyptian experts at least stayed a while and looked over the whole place. Did any of the Egyptians look at the Pyramid of the Moon hill yet?

It is really cool to see all the people in the pics who are so interested. If this was in the US, the Army would have the place surrounded and no civilians, except government picked experts, would be able to see anything. And, we surely wouldn't be getting any pics of the digs.

Keep posting pics! :tsu:

one of the first accounts of the mexican pyramids by explorers around 1917

almaraz also saw the moon pyramid as orignally being formed of three superimposed bodies, each about 10 metres high, only one level of wich could be clearly distinguished at 21 metres from the base.he said he could see no evidence of levels on the east side. wich had the aspect of an inclined plane with no break or fissure.

Time , weather and the hand of man had destroyed much of the orignal surfaces causing crumbling and the oblitration of the ridges so that the pyramids without thier orignal outlines seemed to be hillocks rather than raised surfaces

Thats cool! Ppl say: Not everything is what it seems. I am intrigued with one thing thought.

Those pics that show some "blocks" covering the ground, like a path, arent they too thin? And why the lack of cover/paviment in the walls?

Can someone explain it to me.

Anyway, I hope this turn to be an really ancient structure.
