Helen of Annoy Posted April 9, 2011 #1301 Share Posted April 9, 2011 You know, Abramelin, reading that page or two of your attempts to describe Croats in Holland as “twisted by war” brought tears to my eyes. Because that’s how amusing it is to read self-righteous, self-pitying and above all, malicious ramblings of poor, lonely guy that has no other company but those horrible Croats that call themselves Yugos ( !! ) and walk around with murderous look in their eyes. Give me a break. The only way you could stumble upon ex-soldiers only is if you work for that court in Hague, in which case you have my deepest sympathies, because your guilty conscience will eat you worse than those poor boys from your country’s military who unwillingly helped the Srebrenica massacre by their incompetence. Croats never refer to themselves as “Yugos” and I’ll tell you why. The idea of South Slavic unity is absolutely great, only it was never brought to life. What was brought to life was conglomerate state called Yugoslavia, that was Serboslavia in every practical aspect. Details will follow if needed be. I’m curious – just morbidly curious, it doesn’t really matter – what’s your story? Why are you so itchy about ex-Yu? Why is it so important to you to clump every sovereign nation back under the scornful term “Yugos”? A Dutch should understand, since you do of course understand German, but – let me make a wild guess – wouldn’t agree to have your little country simply annexed by Germany, because that would make it easier for drunk people, they wouldn’t have to bother with your Dutchness, you’d be just another Kraut? Just like Croatian and Serbian, Dutch and German are closely related languages and some could say they’re the same language. Same language, same nation. Same nation, same state. Same state, same history. But they’re not. I’m sorry I had to rub your nose in it, but next time term “Yugo” crosses your mind, I want this very post to follow it. Like Pavlovlev reflex... the ideal sequence would be: Yugos! twisted!... hmm... embarrassment? Why do I feel embarrassment? Because I had to explain it for you that by undermining the sovereignty of my nation you’re directly undermining the sovereignty of your nation. God, I hate slow people. And calling us Yugos is wrong man. Say that in Croatia and be sure you will get bottle in the head. You are smart and clever guy. Just little hasty. Please understand before one of us dies EDIT: We are slavens. South slavens. From that came name Yugoslavia. Since Jug means South on Croatian and Serbian language. So Jug (South) Yug-oslavia. Also Slovenian, Serbian, Bosnian, Croats, Macedonians and more lived in Yugoslavia. We are all separate nations now as we were before Yugoslavia. Croats are on Adriatic coast from 7 century dude. We were then Croats, now Croats and always will be. We all have different languages, different histories, different traditions, different religions...We all lived in our own territory. theDragon Posted April 23, 2011 #1313 Share Posted April 23, 2011 (edited) First of all, I've just spent like 2 hours reading the comments here. I must say that I mostly understand the skepticism since I'm a skeptic since 2006. But I've changed my mind like 10 times until now, and I've even attended Semir's presentation in Mostar like a few months ago. What they have found is astounishing, there are numerous pictures which stir my mind. There are even results by geological institutes that the blocks are made of CONCRETE. If that's so, and I believe in the research team's competency, then the blocks can't be natural, since nature can't make concrete blocks However, there are a lot of logical explanations that this could be just another hill, but we can't ignore the fact that they have found concrete blocks there. For me, the most logical way of thinking is that the hill was reshaped in the pyramidal shape on purpose. How did they make the concrete blocks, and how did they transport them, that's unknown to me, but the fact that there are tunnels underneath the whole valley makes it a little bit more comparable to Egypt's pyramidal complex which also has pyramids and tunnels under the pyramid valley. That's not a valid proof, I know, but I can't ignore the fact that there are concrete blocks on that hill! The 'fact' that there are tunnels doesn't prove a thing: they most probably date from a lot more recent times. During medieval times, but also during Roman times this hill was built on, and IN. A lot of people's skepticism is also based on Semir's weird theories about the Mayans and their pyramids. For many it's like hearing Von Däniken announce a 'great discovery'... like, "yeah, right". That's not a valid proof, I know, but I can't ignore the fact that there are concrete blocks on that hill! Where ever you heard that concrete does not occur naturally is wrong. Natural concrete spheres and slabs are found world wide. They are created when fine clays, similar to what is used in construction concrete, filter in amongst larger stones and pebbles and petrefies that way, similar to limestone, or sandstone with small water deposited stones in it. A Conctretion is when the fine material hardens around a hard center. Conglomates are when the same thing happens in a slab form. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Concretion http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Theodore_Roosevelt_National_Park Look half way up on this pic on the left and you will see the natural concrete slabs. Conglomarate is basically stones of various sizes held in a matrix by a fine sand stone, claystone, or mudstone. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Conglomerate_(geology) All of these are consistant with the known geology of Bosnia, which all the Bosnian geologists agreed on about 2 weeks after Semir discovered those concrete slabs back in 2005 (2006?). If Semir cared to, he could go find similar "concrete" blocks across the whole of the Balkans.

Trapped among Bosnians, Croats and Serbs. All together in his apartment Natural concrete? Sure. But does it come in blocks with rectangular sides? I know that natural formations can be surprisingly symmetrical, I'd like to know if it's possible to have natural concrete naturally cracked not only as a surface with cracks down the depth of a layer, but also between layers. And you pretend to have psychological knowledge, but all you do is TEASE (I am glad to say I have met more mature and more intelligent ex-Yugoslavian women). That's kid's play.
