Sorry, this sounds exactly like the messages I get when my parents use to butt dial me all the time when they got their new cell phones and had me on speed dial.

I have seen/heard my fair share of the unexplainable, but it seems more along the lines of wishful thinking.

I am deeply sorry for his loss, but I truly believe that this is not the case.

I just wanted to share the wonderful news of my husband receiving a message from his parents beyond the grave on his cell phone voicemail. Yes, you read correctly! He came home from work this morning excited about it and asked me to listen to it. I did and couldn't believe it. In total, there are 7 messages in that one voicemail. I cleaned them up and got most of the hissing, popping and cracking noise out of it. The most distinctive one is when I played it backwards. We could hear them saying "we love you" clear as day. Has anything like this happened to any of you? I have heard of cellphones and answering machine messages being left from the spirit world. But we've never ever experienced any of this until this morning. We checked his call log online on the cell company's website, to see if it could have been just a call he may have missed from someone else. There was no number whatsoever for this particular voicemail message at all. I find it extremely fascinating and just had to share with all of you. Also wanted to see if you all had any similar experiences such as this.

I've attached the wav file for you all to listen to.

Thanks,

I just had a very similar experience. I was over a friend's house watching tv on Fri. night. We went out to the deck around midnight and got in the hot tub until 2 AM, then went to bed. I got up in the morning and found a picture frame in the middle of the bathroom and some other things in the house moved around. I took pics of these. Then 3 days later, my friend checks her voicemail messages and hears a strange one of a woman. She went into the info to see who it was from, and it was sent by my phone at 1:38 AM on Sat. morning, the time my friend and I were out in the hot tub, while our cell phones were in the house. We were the only two in the house, by the way. I listened to it, and it clearly says, "I love you..." and to me it sounds like the word "sweety" in a whisper. I told my friend this, and she said her sister, who died recently used to end their phonecalls with, "I love you sweety". She had never told me this. I want to keep this message. Can someone please tell me how I can download it onto my computer?

In my experience any message that comes in backwards even if it seems good in nature is evil.

Alright I have to post this.. because somethings just cant be explained and since I am rather circumspect on this subject I am still questionable as to the probability that this could actually happen. In 1985 my mother died it was dec 17 the day of her funeral.. When my mom was dying with cancer I lay beside her and asked her if there was life after death she must somehow communicate she promised she would. Being the agnostic that I am I never expected an answer. On xmas eve I came home after spending my evening at my brothers to a voicemail. It was crackly fuzzy and broken but then I heard my moms voice saying the " the weather is fine.. the weather is fine.." I still have the tape. My siblings were in shock when they heard it. My mom was very proper we never disclosed it as we knew it was mom's way of say she was ok!

These things are reported. When it happens over a phone or answring machine it's known as an "ITC". ITC is, "Intrumental-Trans-Communication." It's reported to happen with things from telephones, to answering machines, TV's, radios and other type things. I've had some interesting results combining EVP and ITC methods. I call them IRCs. Interactive-Response-Communications.

I just joined this forum yesterday but I feel that I need to post something about this topic........

First...Phone Calls From the Dead (PCFTD) have been documented for a very long time.....I believe the first actual documentation of one was back in 1969 when a musician received a call from his passed over grandmother. Since then the accounts/reports of them have been increasing. Most people who have had these "Calls" don't tell anyone for fear of being disbelieved or looked at like they are crazy....They have no "concrete proof" to show or allow anyone to hear...just the knowledge of what happened. People have relayed that the voices they have heard sound just like the person that had passed over...sometimes there is a lot of static or it sounds like a bad connection. I have never experienced this phenomena but my late grandmother did. About 6 months after my grandfather passed over the phone rang at about 3AM (this was 30+ years ago when phones were mechanical and had bells not electronic ringers). She answered it and heard my grandfather say "Don't worry, I'm fine." that was the extent of it. I have NEVER had ANY reason to doubt what my grandmother had said.

There was also a book written in the late 70's by Scott Rogo and Richard Bayless, aptly titled "Phone Calls From the Dead" which was a 2 year study of this phenomena and the first "public" mention of this occurrence. Since then there is a british paranormal investigator by the name of Cal Cooper who has re-explored this phenomena and written his own book "Telephone Calls from The Dead."

This isn't as far fetched as one might think...and the people who have received calls/messages/voicemails from loved ones who have passed over have absolutely no doubt it was from their loved one.

Yeah, it's reported and in some cases documented. Raudive the person who is resposible for making EVP famous was said to call a number of EVP and ITC researchers after his death. Again those on the otherside decide. Folks should keep in mind, and ask yourself...

Is it possible for the dead to use such things? How can anyone say for sure? We have to measure the results. I say, based on my research of many years and experiences. It's possible. I can say without doubt. Something interactive and conscious is responding to questions and repeating words and phrases back...
