I don't know why its pictured. http://www.amonline.net.au/fishes/fishfact...h/rpacifica.htm

Doggirl3 Posted February 2, 2006 #17 Share Posted February 2, 2006 Interesting. It does look like a small lochness monster type of creature. And it is very cute looking but in a weird way. Are they studying this thing and see what it eats? Fish, snails, or whatever?

MarineBiology Posted February 16, 2006 #22 Share Posted February 16, 2006 I don't mean to sound like a downer on my first post, but some of this guesses are very uneducated. This creature sounds a lot like a Frogfish, Darter, Newt, Salamander or Tripod Fish. This fish is coming from a river/stream however so it would have to be a highly adapted type of Frogfish because they're from saltwater.
