Nah it's never that bad here in Britain, not great but nothing like that web site makes out. Couldn't help but notice the article on the weather:

"Britain doesn't have a climate or seasons - just weather. Basically, it's either raining, blowing a gale or both"

Well I'm not sure about where you live but where I am last summer was one of the warmest and sunniest for a long time!

Well, yes, here in Sunny Surrey we did get freakishly hot weather last summer - but I felt that was the exception rather than the norm!

There are a few problems here such as high tax and rubbish public transport, blah blah blah..

But every country has its problems.

And the weather isn't that bad, especially seeing as we live so far north, I think some people seem to think we should have the same weather as what they get on the equator.

Just about every nation on Earth has sites, articles, books etc...... just like this "bagging" them. If you live there you know what your country is really like so just ignore it and have a good laugh in the country that you love.

I'm an American (Minnesota) and I visited England for the first time last January for three weeks. I have to say, I thought it was absolutely beautiful in every way. I spent most of my time in Gloustershire in the Cotswalds, near the town of Stroud.

I was mesmerized by the beauty of England -- even though it was January, I had about a week of lovely, sunny weather -- but even the rainy days were mysteriously lovely, I thought.

Every Brit I met was kind, friendly and intelligent. I love the U.K.! I'm coming back as soon as I can afford it!!!!!

Gloucestershire is indeed a very beautiful county! As is Cornwall, Devon and Wiltshire down south and along Hadrian's Wall up north.
