7 Percent Posted April 27, 2006 #1 Share Posted April 27, 2006 Just to prove that George Bush is not on his own when bad news hits, his bum chum Tony Blairs Goverment is going through a crisis at the moment. Prescott had an affair, she must have been hard up, 1000 criminals that should have been deported have been released into the community and our health service is sacking Doctors and nurses. Kuahji Posted April 27, 2006 #2 Share Posted April 27, 2006 lol why do you even post stuff that you know & probably want to cause an argument. This article has nothing to do with Bush & America, but yet some how some people can't post a thread without expressing their hate for America. This article has nothing to do with Bush & America, but yet some how some people can't post a thread without expressing their hate for America. Don't be so paranoid. Where was the expression of American hatred? Clearly 7 Percent is anti-Bush and anti-Blair but he said nothing in this post that was anti-American. Bush is not America and America is not Bush. It is quite possible that 7 Percent has expressed anti-American sentiments elsewhere, that I don't know but here he is expressing an opionion about his own Government. Many in the UK see Blair as "Bush's poodle" doing whatever Bush tells him. That is what 7 Percent is refering to and that is why he mentioned Blair. Incidentally I am not defending him because I agree with his politics, on the basis of this post we probably wouldn't see eye to eye on that subject. 7 Percent Posted April 27, 2006 Author #4 Share Posted April 27, 2006 Sorry, i thought this sight was open to all Countries, i just wanted to say that not all the bad news stems from America. Mind you Americans probably wont comment on British polotics as they dont follow world affairs. I thought this website is based in Britain , or am i wrong. Waspie_Dwarf Posted April 27, 2006 #5 Share Posted April 27, 2006 (edited) I thought this website is based in Britain , or am i wrong. It is a very International site in terms of it's membership. I would guess (although I can't back this uo with figurers) that here are more American members than any other nationallity. SaRuMaN the founder and administrator of the site is Scottish. Mind you Americans probably wont comment on British polotics as they dont follow world affairs. This is rather stereotyping an entire nation isn't it? Whilst it is true that America has a reputation of being a rather insular society a cursory glance at this forum will show you that it is certainly not true for a great many of our friends from across the pond. You must be one of those people who don't get out of the house much, sitting and watching all the lies on FOXnews. No one said they hated america, the guy said Bush and Blair are in the same boat with problems. Geez, don't be so naive. You think the government in the US is so great, you must be one of the sheep who doesn't see the obvious.
Dennison Posted April 27, 2006 #10 Share Posted April 27, 2006 The only time the USA care about world affairs is if it is to do with Oil, Islam or Israel. EXCUSE me, thats a rather harsh claim. The only world affairs we get told about are the ones that are screened through our government before they get displayed on the tele. They won't show us anything else, unless you are sleuthy and go looking on the web for it. Otherwise, the media monopoly of the government hides all the correct information from the American people, instead we get lies and falsitys in our news, and people are drawn to believe what we hear on television is the truth. Guest Lottie Posted April 27, 2006 #11 Share Posted April 27, 2006 This thread is based on Tony Blairs New Labour Falling Apart, not about American Politics. There are more than enough threads to argue over the politics of America. Please stay on topic otherwise this thread will be closed.

Dennison Posted April 27, 2006 #14 Share Posted April 27, 2006 Agreeing with whom do you ask? There are people like me in the Americas that care about world affairs other than what our media gives us as important. I wasn't agreeing with anyone.
