Germany's foreign ministry insisted it would not provide any further details of the pair's release.

Paired with this:

In December German archaeologist Susanne Osthoff was freed after three weeks in captivity. Rumours have persisted that the German government paid a substantial ransom for her release.

I really hope the Germans didn't crack under terrorist threats. :hmm:

And if a ransom is paid, that goes directly to funding terrorists for food, supplies and weapons.

Let's say the ransom was 10k. That's more then enough for IED's supplies for more then 25 attacks.

I've seen the average attack is killing roughly 3 people, let's just say.

25 x 3 = 75

75 real people died for 1 person. How does that work for logic?

Not to mention now that they know ransom will be paid, hell, just kidnap Germans and you get money for them. Adding fuel to the fire rather then water.

Kratos,

The logic is correct, but it is a hard lesson to learn. I hope Germany never learns it.

EDIT: I thought better of the way I worded this, but I think you understand what I meant here.
