There are many reasons people hate. Differing religious concepts is a popular one now. Why are westerners thought of as infidels? America, the Satan of the world? Why hate America if you don't even know what it is like to live here? Why stone the occupiers when the people thorwing stones will be better off when the occupiers leave and you have democracy and more freedom?

People hate because they are told to by those that have made them believe they are to be believed and not questioned.
