He wasnt asking to be caught he was making sure he got all the credit. When he committed the first four, they had placed someone in custody which p***ed BTK off because he wanted to make damn sure they knew he did it. It was his grandiose and narcissistic behaviors that got him caught. After a book was to be published about the BTK killings, (mind you, the killings had stopped for close to a decade) it was published on the front page of the Witchita paper- that really made him angry. To see someone else gaining anything from his work threw him back to his behaviors and hence wrote the letter from the church computer that he put on disc and sent to a local tv station. He didnt pay enough attention to how much forensics evolved.

The guy is a total dirt bag, unemotional, looked at them like he was hunting deer- Im just happy they finally caught the guy and now he has to rellish about it in his cell instead of out here where he may of caught the bug to start doing it again.

He's a typical sociopath. He has no emotion and only cares for himself. He's a sicko.

He must be wacko if he sent the police and media letters. Easiest way to tack him if he licked the envolpes.

YES- b****** That Kills

I hate his 'name' it reminds me of BLT. Everytime I hear BTK, I think of bacon lettuce and tomato sandwiches.

Yes. Yes you are.

Oh well that explains everything then.

I'm going to go pull down some people's pants now.

Swish.

I don't uderstand the point of your one-word-statement.

What are you trying to say?

It was in response to that "Yes. Yes you are." I don't really know how to explain it. A basketball goes "swish" through the hoop, right? So it means, more or less, "Score" or "Nice." I got it from an episode of 3-South, the context of which can probably sum it up fairly well.

Sanford embarasses Del at a feminist comedy night, so...

Del-This is the last feminist comedy night I invite you to.

Sanford-Oh yeah? Well...maybe this is the last feminist comedy night you invite ME to! Swish!

In this context it just means, essentially, "Nice. Burned."

That's kinda creepy that he would actually do that, I mean sure he didnt want other people taking his credit but he should have quit while he was ahead, even if he did quit maybe we could have taken a look at the case again here in 2006 with all these forensic devices its easy to solve murders...(i wanna be a forensic scientist)

how many people did they guy kill?

He killed ten people in all and collected items from various other crime scenes. Wikipedia has a great article on him. Here's the link. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BTK_Killer
