Ive had virus and spyware files installed on my computer accendently. The scans have picked up and deleted all of the files except for one. Unfortuanatly its a .dll file and every time I try to delete it it gives me an error that says "Could not remove"

Ive had this problem with other computers before. But I could never solve the problem

What's the name of the file?

Probably looks like this:

shgpks45sad5asd15c1csc515c1s5151c5s1cs5c15a1csc1s8a61sc155asckjkjhhn14545.dll

They are hard as hell to find.... I had that problem once to....had to do a complete reformat....

^That should work; good advice.

Just make sure you know that the file you're deleting isn't an important one, look its filename up on google to see what results come up.

I agree MAKE SURE the DLL you're deleting isn't one that a program uses or else the program won't work

I've had this problem before.

Write down the ENTIRE .dll name and location. You can search it on google and get the .dll download site to replace it.

Search, download the extra .dll file to your desktop (this is very important!!!).

Once you have that reboot in safe mode, delete the file.

Drag the extra good copy into the deleted files location, then reboot. That should do the trick. :tu:

*just my opinion. ;)

you can try using a small freeware program called "moveonboot". you can select the source file and it will be deleted on your next reboot.
