But was implying stupid ones for him. :P

But as long as he discusses Ra and the other Neter I am fine with that, because it is related to God, just not the Christian one. And I believe that other religions should be heard including the Kemetic one.

Such a profound post

...whos ra

I'm referring to the Egyptian god Ra. I think people should be allowed to talk about him and other gods.

Such a profound post

:P:lol:

Would have been better with a curb stomping.

Is this better?

Getting back on topic...

If ya don't mind I would like to leard a lil bit about this Egyptian God Ra....was he or is he much like the christian God? or much like the Devil? Is he just some kind of figurine that people believe to be a God? :hmm: You have to excuse my ignorance but like a lot of folks on here this is the 1st time I have heard of such a God

Well BM it wouldn't be like Ra is like God, more the other way around. And this is evident with stories on the divine name. Which perhaps helped to inspire the Tetragrammaton.

an atheist as well as a comedian ...

Who are you referring to?

I was asking a question ?

And I'm saying that if you want to believe it, more power to you, although there is no evidence of that.

Hmm the other way around...now thats intresting..so far from the site RR gave me it seems to be mythical..but thats only going by a simple glance...I need to take the time to read it before I can pass judgement of my own thoughts

Yep, read some books on Kabbalah, then read some material on Egyptian Creation stories. It's like plagiarism.

Truly? And why isn't a Bible mythical?

LOL, so you are saying that the christian god isn't mythical? it just isn't if you don't believe in it to be...

It's all in your head people, it's all in your head, now go see a doctor!

EDITED: this was to BM, except the go see a doctor part, that's to everybody here!

Now that I have taken some lil time to read it...to me it's Egyptian mythology and intresting to find how much it changed as time went on from the time when it combined with the Theban god Amun to become Amun-Ra. I was concerned about Yahweh and now have just learned that Yahweh was believed to be the worlds creator.

The egyptians have some imagination

When you say a Bible..are you speaking about the bible according to christians? if so..then as I have made it clear before in my different threads I will do so again...yes IMO it too is mythical..for I do not believe for a split second that the words within it are the actual words of God.
