Some phobias, manias, syndromes, disorders

I saw a program once I think on the Discovery channel about a woman from England that is afraid of taking left hand turns when driving. She will go thru great lengths (literally) to get where she needs to by making all right handed turns. :w00t: (no clue what that phobia is called but that cracked me up!)

If I can find the story I will...

If you have fear of bathing and a fear of peeing then I don't want to be in the same room with you.

Dr. Strangelove syndrome: hands with a life of its own

Alien hand syndrome (or Dr. Strangelove syndrome) is a neurological disorder in which one of the sufferer's hands seems to take on a life of its own.

Sometimes the sufferer will not be aware of what the hand is doing until it is brought to his or her attention. Alien hands can perform complex acts such as undoing buttons or removing clothing.

well... thats new...

Lipotrichogymnoxenophobia, the fear of fat, hairy, naked strangers

Everyone who knows me always tells me, 'You must have agroaphobia...'

I don't fear the public places, I just don't like dealing with them haha! What would you rather deal with, a store full of people some with screaming children and people running into you, or a store with a few people. Yeah.

But I do have a fear of "deep sea creatures" o.x which is why I can't look/watch/hear about "sea monsters" and such X3 I watched Pirates2 and got all freaked out when that monster came on. When I was younger I was terrified of lobsters XD
