UM-Bot Posted July 27, 2006 #1 Share Posted July 27, 2006 James Leininger's parents want their 8-year-old son to have a great life -- his own life. But for the past 5 1/2 years, the Louisiana boy has been reliving pieces of the life of another James -- Lt. James McCready Huston, a World War II fighter pilot from Uniontown who was killed near Iwo Jima more than 50 years before James was born. At 2 1/2 years old, James began expressing aviation knowledge that surpassed not just a typical toddler's ability, but that of his parents. ROGER Posted July 27, 2006 #2 Share Posted July 27, 2006 (edited) I have always thought my son Randal retained some memories of a previous life. At the age of three and four he spoke of things like knowing the names of birds from thier calls. He had mannerism's that older adults used .While watching the news one night he identified the Empire State Building , knowing its dimensions and the number of steps to the top. When I asked how he knew these things he said he was there once. Randal is now 26 , and has no memory of this. I have asked him if he would consider Regressive Hypnosis to see who he may have been , but he now says he really dose not care who he was. He knows who he is now , and that's what is important. Azalin Posted July 27, 2006 #5 Share Posted July 27, 2006 Now is it a past life, or the ability to communicate with spirits around you ?. I personally do no believe in re-incarnation, but believe spirits may visit children and also adults and contribute life stories.
ShaunZero Posted July 27, 2006 #6 Share Posted July 27, 2006 I've seem too much evidence(at least what I would call evidence) to pass up the idea of reincation. I think it's extremely plausible.
zukie&jim Posted July 27, 2006 #7 Share Posted July 27, 2006 hum looking at lt.james m houstons combat records. it appears that his aircraft was lost in the area described. he was flying a corsair at the time although this is unusual because vc-81 normally only operated avengers and wildcats since the "natoma bay" was a escort carrier . but there were corsairs being tested on the small carriers like the "natoma bay" at the time and there records that indicate corsairs were on the ship at that time period. lt-james houston was assigned to vf-301 an experimental corsair unit that was stationed on the ship. lt houston's aircraft was seen to be hit in the engine. (just where james 3 claimed his aircraft was hit.) the only difference in the after action report is that the corsair was hit from anti-aircraft fire and was seen to be hit by other aircraft on the strike. Sudif Posted July 28, 2006 #8 Share Posted July 28, 2006 It does seem to indicate that the horror of rebirth might be true. Still, that's better than the horror of Hell, so maybe this is good news .
WoDoByMe Posted July 28, 2006 #9 Share Posted July 28, 2006 (edited) Or maybe it's more of a plug for all of time actually existing at once, something like dimentions stacked ontop of each other. And today may be today for us but it is tommorow for somebody else. I think physics supports this theory more. ROGER Posted July 28, 2006 #10 Share Posted July 28, 2006 Still freaky from a parents point of view. The hope of all parents is to have kids who's personality can be shaped by your teachings and raising. To find that babies are born with a personality aready in place put to question how much influence any one has for the next generation.

Jok3r Posted August 10, 2006 #12 Share Posted August 10, 2006 I find it to be really interesting. I mean I would find it very interesting to find out who I was in my past life. I mean, I can't say that re-incarnation is real but it's possible. I wonder what other things he will start to see or learn as he gets older. MonkeyPox Posted August 10, 2006 #13 Share Posted August 10, 2006 What's the chance that the History Channel has been around for this kid's entire life and that he has memorized much of what he saw on TV?
ROGER Posted August 11, 2006 #14 Share Posted August 11, 2006 Kids do pick up a lot from T.V. even when you think they are not listening to it. But the personal details would not be know or covered by the History Channel. Especially knowlege of family events , or events that happened that only other pilots or crew mate would remember. Hey , It's a mystery. Life is full of them.
UtahRaptor Posted September 16, 2006 #15 Share Posted September 16, 2006 (edited) This sort of thing isn't common but at the same time not all that rare either. The 3 main ideas I've seen here are all VERY good: Spirits communicating, different planes of existance (other dimensions), and Reincarnation. Personally i do beleive in all 3. I personally have had encounters with all 3. As far as I can remember, my first life was as an ancient amphibian about 460 mil yrs ago, or was the fish first????? I can't remember too well..... The best thing to do is to learn all that you can from your past, and be who you are in the present body you occupy. In some cases people not ony cary over memories from one life to the next, but physical traits as well. If this is true that would explain why I have 4 extra ribs, 2 on each side. And also a skin flap in my throught that allows me to purr. Alos I can imitate almost any reptile or cat vocalization because they have a similar structure in their throughts. Either that or I just have some wierd extra boby parts and I'm a human mutation........ I'm open to either explaination.
