Mistranslation in the bible?

Recommended Posts

Lucifers first appearance is in Isaiah 14:12 and he does not appear at any other point throughout the bible, For many biblical scholars the name lucifer is a major sticking point for biblical literalists.

You see Lucifer is a Latin name and as such has no place in a Hebrew book. Also the name Lucifer means the "Morning Star" and Jesus said in Revelation 22:16 "I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star."

Anyway i found a site that raises some interesting points,

Her is a link
