schadeaux Posted October 29, 2003 #1 Share Posted October 29, 2003 Nine Chinese scientists are going to examine a huge stone structure some say 'may have been a launch tower left by extraterrestrials'. Hey, I'm just reporting here. The tower is on the bank of a lake and is between 165-200 feet (50-60m) high. At the front of the pyramid-like stack of weird shaped rocks are three caves with triangular openings. The cave in the middle is the biggest, with its floor standing 6.5 ft (2m) above the ground and its top 26 ft. (8m) above the ground and about 19 ft (6m) in depth. Inside there is a half-pipe about 16" (40cm) in diameter tilting from the top to the inner end of the cave. The two smaller caves have collapsed and are inaccessible. In and around the caves are pipes of a red brownish color, the same as the surrounding rocks. Some of the pipes running into the lake. The head of the publicity department of the Delingha government said scraps were once taken for analysis. There was a large content of silicon dioxide and calcium oxide, a result of long interaction between iron and sandstone, "which means the pipes must be very old," said Liu Shaolin, the engineer who did the analysis. 8% of their content could not be identified, which has made the site even more mysterious. Said one of the scientists, "Nature is harsh here. The area is high in altitude, with thin and transparent air. There are no residents, let alone modern industry in the area, only a few migrant herdsmen to the north of the mountain." Anomalies Unlimited Anyone ever heard of this?
