Ambershadow Posted October 30, 2003 #1 Share Posted October 30, 2003 I'm fascinated with the idea but the paranoia in me wonders if once you've left a haunted place, if the spirit/ghost can follow you home. I don't remember what show it was that I saw this phenonemon but there was a family who moved into a haunted house. They then decided to move because of the hauntings & found the hauntings following them to wherever they moved. Then someone suggested they cross over water on their next move because spirits/ghosts can't follow you over water. It was really strange. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

peachykeane Posted October 30, 2003 #3 Share Posted October 30, 2003 Some mediums tell stories of this kind where a trapped or lost spirit latches onto them and stays with them until being sent on it's way but I think for the most part it's rare, plus many ghosts in haunted locations seem more like repetitive recordings than actual conscious beings so it's unlikely to happen with them. I'm more concerned with the ethical question of whether mediums should help release trapped spirits from places when they come across them. That's if there's anything to it of course!
