Favorite I've ever heard:

"Oedipus and the Momma's Boys."

Bonus points of you can name which movie it was in.

And a few off the top of my head:

Anti-Mexican Defamation Gringo b*******

T.O. and the Prima Donnas

liqourfueled

Your Wife and the Milkmen

Acid Flavored Jello

Silent Violence

And the worst rapper name of all time: P-Nozzle.

Quoted in PCU (1994)

Nobody participated in my "Worst Paragraph: Identify the Novel" contest, so I'm looking out for members who keep things entertaining. :tu:

Hey, Jillian,

It's post #57 on page 4 (Link below). I provided a link with the answer, but I feel secure in the honor system with you. ;)

I think I spent about 2 hours on the wrong quote, LOL, the 'post #57' initially escaping my line of sight. The one you mentioned 'Call me if I yell' (and without peeking at your link) is a play on 'Call me Ishmael.' the opening line of Moby Dick. This was the one I spent so long pondering:

"Independent contractors in the field of tight rope walking always dreaded the circus coming to town. It meant a two week slump in business retrieving laundry between highrise apartments for arthritic housewives lacking the strength to operate the cranks."

Where does this come from? I keep thinking it sounds like Faulkner, perhaps from one of his lesser-known works, like 'Pylon' (which I haven't read but might have used Cliff Notes on).

That's an original as far as I know: byproduct of a demented mind. The only two that were based upon classic novels, or novels of any variety, were those referencing Moby Dick and A Tale of Two Cities. I do, however, appreciate the effort in exceeding the contest parameters.
