Nobody, not even the most fanatical of Nostradamuss disciples, has a clue what the passages might have meant before something acctually happens that might fit the "prophecy", then the retroprophets shoehornes the event to fit the "prophecy."

James Randi and Cheetham read one of the more famous translations of the quatrains, allegedly predicting the rise of Adolf Hitler to power in Germany. Neither translation seems to make much sense, but at least Randis recognizes that "Hister" refers to a geographical region, not a person. (Hister is an ancient name for the Danube region.)

One thing Nostradamus didnt "predict" was that he would become a one-man industry in the 20th century. Publishing houses will never go broke printing the latest predictions culled from his manuscripts. Money is the future.

You must believe in the 'Immunological' nature of all things-- not just your Immune systems T-4 cells. Space does know! It is 'differentiated' by gravity. Gravity knows everything outside of itself(perfect 'order'/symmetry), and know that which is not 'of it'!

This is exactly like your Immune System!

Look at Saturn's brewing cloud! Saturn is our Solar System's T-4 Immunce system, and it is responding to Earth(integrated system logic), and will combine with the Gas from planet Jupiter(all gas!), to cause a Comet(The Destroyer), to resolve the situation on Earth.

You must believe this. The Comet is the 'immunological' response to the disharmony here on Earth.

This thread is interesting. I've often wondered myself what would happen to another guy like Jesus/Mohammed/Confuscius/whomever if he/she were to see their statements/actions rise to similar acclaim (hesitate to say fame since presumeably that wouldn't be what they're after).

Bottom-line: if not at least discredited, that person would certainly be under some very heavy covert surveillance. I think the powers that be would be smart enough to keep him or her alive. Heck, they may not even be recognized. In this wacky age of Aquarius, kooks and quacks are a dime a dozen - they're almost camouflage.

Does anyone consider the possibilty that there is no longer a need for "one" prophet, which is ultimately a weak proposition for presenting essential truth to all of mankind?

Perhaps the distribution of the same exact truth to millions of enlightened humans on the planet would be a much more powerful and effective way of creating a shift of consciousness needed to reveal what is to come.

This is what I believe the master Jesus presented to us in speaking the words:

I am in my Father, my father is in you and you are in me.

With understanding, it can be said that there is no more functional purpose for a single isolated prophet when this one taught that we all have the ability to hear and understand God for ourselves.

One human being elevated above others leads to dangerous political manipulation.

This form of bringing revelation to the planet is no longer effective, as is evident by the posts in this thread.

I've always believed that if one or a group of "people" such as those past teachers reappeared, their best work would be done in raising other people's awareness (or just subtely presenting information allowing them to do so on their own). Perhaps this psychological dynamic is exactly what will be transformed. Just because it is "how" people formed a perception of absolute authority in the past does not qualify it as eternal or even desirable.

Who said anything about multiple prophets. I was talking about enlightenment of the masses and a collective shift of conscious awareness of truth. We have somecommon truths we share as humans already, but they are grounded in what we know of our experience on earth. We have mass awareness that life on earth is not permanent and that we all have mortality. There are many commonalities of experience in human life. What varies are all matters speculative or subjective. We do not agree on the meaning of life or what lies beyond this experience.

It seems that in time, this will resolve itself. Just as we learned more about the universe when we discovered the earth wasn't flat. This once universally held belief is now laughed at as insane, and has been (very slowly timewise) converted to a universally held disbelief.

The same will evolve in human consciousness of our spiritual reality beyond this dimension. Eventually it will not be argued or debated but will become accepted truth, whatever the truth actually is. Just like the round earth, the truth does exist even if it is not universally acknowledged at this time in history.

Now if everyone could just stop killing each other over conflicting versions of the great "truth" we might all get there a bit sooner.
