Clip from Sightings

Please forgive me if this is the wrong place to post this, but this is a new forum to me.

I saw a clip from Sightings a few years ago that was strangely scary. It was a home video of a family sitting on the couch laughing and having a good time. Typical get-to-gether behavior, and there is a rather large window behind them that is open and it is dark. Not too long into the clip, you see a head emerge and go from one side of the window to the other. It wasnt an animal head. The closest thing I can say it describes would be an alien of some sort. It was just scary to me and gives me chills to this day when I think about it. The head passed from one side to the other and glances in the house as it does pass. It took about 2 seconds to get to the other side.

If anyone has any information on the clip, I, as well as a few other people, would greatly appreciate it. We have a section for this type of discussion on the other forum but the traffic isnt exactly booming in that section. Thus the reason for my bringing the question here.

I saw that video, Sightings showed it along with Strange Universe.

Also with that story the face in the widow wasn't noticed until a few months later, when the family decided to watch the tape. The face had the Gray alien look to it. Not much else was followed up with the story.

I'll see if I can find a photo of it.

Video clips of ET life / UFO's cant always be solid evidence that their are aliens in our universe . Not to say I dont believe in Alien existance , I trongly believe in it . Im just saying that ET videos are really easy to fake . Even abductions can be faked as a prank , How hard would it be to drug someones drink and then tie them up and stage an abduction ? Not very hard .

Home videos have been created very frequently on ET life and it is possible to find them using Kazaa Lite . If you dont know what kazaa is its a sharing program for users over the internet . Its extremely easy to find , Just go to yahoo and type in "kazaa lite" and you will get hundreds of mirrors for the tool . Once you get it Im sure you know what to do , just search for "UFO or something like that and you will get a ton of ufo home video files . Just be sure to atch for what your downloading , often times people like to name something differant then it is on kazaa ... Get a firewall to stop viruses and be aware that porn comes in many differant names .

Ive used Kazaa Lite for a loooooong time now. Seaching for a specific clip in the ocean of data is like trying to catch a specific fish out of the sea. With the way people name the clips and such, its hard to narrow it down.

Im well aware that it may be hoaxed, but thats not really important to me. It just looked rather spooky...in a subtle kinda way. But yea, it was just kinda a side story, no follow up what so ever.

Im not familiar with Strange Universe though. Is that something new or is it an old program? After Sightings went off, I pretty much stopped watchin Sci-Fi channel all together.

Another Alien face in window.

"On Wednesday 21st December 1994 an article in the Hull Daily Mail, a local newspaper caught my attention with the headline "Mystery Face At The Window." The article states that a Withernsea family claimed mysterious aliens had been following them for the past two years. Muriel Rowbottom and her daughter, Sandra Walton, witnessed giant orange balls hovering above their bungalow in Sproatley. As an enormous white ball, with a mysterious shutter hovered above them they ran into the house. The sky changed colour, they heard a loud noise and house alarms started to ring. "It was very frightening. We were scared to look, but I pointed the camera at the window in hope of catching a picture of it." said Sandra, who at the time, lived with her mother.

They later found huge dents in the grass outside the property where she believes the white spaceship ball would have landed. During the stay at the remote property, she claims the volume on the hi-fi system turned itself up while other members of the family witnessed the strange goings-on. "I couldn't stay there anymore. Weird things kept happening and it was very frightening. People will think we are nuts but we know what we saw," she said.

In a second article from the Hull Daily Mail dated 21st January 1995, it is reported that NASA could examine the photographs what some experts say are some of the most exciting UFO pictures taken in Britian to date! To date, several investigators have undertaken this case and I know what most of you are thinking....... Why has it come to light again?

Speaking to Sandra and Murial (Right), they explain that this information has never received the attenion it needs. "It needs to out there, worldwide. Everyone has a right to see these pictures, not just the scientists." "

Strange Universe was on at the same time as sightings. But it was a late night show sydnicated on Los Angeles Television Stations. It stared Emmit Miller. He still works for Fox L.A. and can be emailed.

I'm not too sure but I think I've read about this happening too.Does this incident involve some shooting too??I meant the people tried shooting this Grays that were appearing at the windows.If it is,I would love to see the video too as I haven't before.

As for me,I do believe in aliens besides us around here.But I have to agree with what you said about the probability of certain fakeness in Alien or UFO based vids,pics.I've chosen to believe in them though because there are lots of coincidences and curious links between them.But if some are indeed fake,then I'm the dumb one. It all goes down to this certain people who'd do anything just to either get some fame or maybe to come out a few bucks ahead by faking all those nonsense.Real pathetic of this people since it would make believers like us some bunch of jackarses.

Some more info on what shows aired the Video.

">A few years ago I happened to see two videos on TV that some of you may

have also seen. Both were very disturbing, and one literally sent

shivers down my spine.

The most important of the two, and the one I hope to find a copy of, ran

on a local SF Bay Area newscast as a human interest story right before

the broadcast finished. It was a video from the midwest. It may be

difficult to understand the setup of this video, but I will try to

explain the best I can. The video was taken by a few kids who were

having fun with a video camera late one winter evening. They had set the

camera on top of the television set pointing at them so they could face

the camera and the TV, threrfore creating a video mirror. They were able

to watch themselves as they goofed off. The camera and tv did not only

face them, but a window on the other side of the room.

Here is where things get interesting. As you watch you can see the kids

playing. All of a sudden a white, oval face rises up into the window.

It is our of focus and seen through glass but it appears to be a light

color with black eyes. As soon as one of the kids turns around to look,

it pulls down and out of sight extremely quickly. The newscast replayed

it zooming in a slowing down. It was a grey looking face with black

eyes. The newscaster commented that it was below freezing outside and

that cattle mutilations had been reported in the area of this ranch.

Needless to say, it was one of the freakiest things I have ever seen.

The other video appeared on Hard Copy or A Current Affair. A family had

seen some unusual lights in the sky from their home, so the couple ran

outside with their video camera. The show what appeared to be a number

of white lights moving in a wierd formation above their house. What was

stranger was that an upstairs window was in view of the camera. As the

camera attempted to get a shot of the lights the window could be seen and

the silhouette of a stranget black shape could be seen floating across

the window. Something was certainly inside the house, not a pet or a

person, but a strange shape that floated past the window.

Both these videos are strange and interesting. Of course there is the

potential for fakery here, but I would love to see them both again.

If anyone has seen these tapes or has access to them, please write me and

let me know. I hope that someone out there has them, especially the

video of the farm kids playing and the face in the window, it was truly

incredible.

Thanks for the replies guys, I would have checked back sooner, but my email notification was apparently turned off. I know of some of the clips you guys are talking about, but its still different from the one I saw. I doubt Ill ever be able to find it. It was about 20-30sec long. But that pic that you posted, mcginty, is very very similar to the "thing" that appeared in the window. It wasnt the typical looking alien, it had that square-ish looking figure. Odd how the two are in different situations and yet they have similar characteristics. Almost scary.

I guess Ill be looking for it untill Sightings is back as reruns.

I went to the link, and in the first two pictures I couldn't see it. In the last one I could. I always like to say all pictures are real, I hate saying some are fakes(unless its obvious that they put something in the picture). I like to keep an open mind. Anyway, sounds like a cool show, when did Sci-Fi take it off?
