I was ahead in material (2 rooks & pawn). Dowdy has not started his 2nd game with either myself or PA. I am not sure if he will be able to resume play to complete these games. I just noticed (about 10 minutes ago now) with my last move, I could have moved my queen to c6 instead of capturing the pawn on d6 - I'd have won your bishop (unless you tried to protect the bishop, in which case I'd win the rook for my pawn). If I'd seen that, I'm not sure I'd have offered the draw. Oh well And as an aside, going on evidence of a short PM discussion with dowdy about two or three weeks ago, I doubt he's going to complete the tournament.
