Peace Crusader Posted December 31, 2006 #1 Share Posted December 31, 2006 My Dear Fellowmen, Is this one-eye kitten true? I saw it in the Photo Gallery. It says that its owner named it Cyclop for having one eye. Could you please give more details? Best regards, Aristeo Canlas Fernando, Peace Crusader and Echo
Mekorig Posted December 31, 2006 #2 Share Posted December 31, 2006 Yep, its just a genetic disorder/muttaion that make that the poor kitty to born whit fused eyes, just a big eye. Nothing too weird.
frogfish Posted January 1, 2007 #3 Share Posted January 1, 2007 Yes, it's just a genetic mutation...Some human trisomys and monosomys can cause the eyes to be buried in the back of the head...so it appears you have no eyes... Trisomy 13 is an example.
Big_Daddy_T Posted January 1, 2007 #4 Share Posted January 1, 2007 I always thought the one eyed kitten was a hoax, cause ALOT of pictures on the internet are either hoaxed 100% or heavily edited. nature can be strange sometimes
