From time to time, I'll be uploading some Discovery Channel - A Haunting episodes.

A Haunting in Connecticut

When the Parker family moved into a Connecticut rented home in 1986, they were faced with crucifixes, coffin keys and toe tags; they had just moved into a former funeral parlour. They packed away all the funeral paraphernalia but this did not keep the spirits at bay and within a couple of months, the children told their mother that they often saw three men by their beds at night.Mr and Mrs Parker endured frightening experiences, such as hearing funeral music and seeing doors open and shut without reason. The encounters only got worse - Mrs. Parker witnessed her niece fighting off an attack by an unseen intruder while she lay in bed. Mr and Mrs Parker, at their wits’ end, hired a controversial couple who specialise in the supernatural. The demonologist and his clairvoyant wife attempted to rid the house of the evil spirits through an exorcism.

Here is the video in Divx format.

I never could understand why the parents would put their young son dying with cancer in the basement to sleep! Never made sense to me-

I just wasted 645mb on a boring movie :td: maybe you should mention it's not a documentary but a movie, will save some time of people who think it is a documentary :)

Well the boy was possessed by those demons/ghost and most "normal" adult don't believe in such things as ghost. He wanted to stay in the basement with himself, I wouldn't called wanting to stay more like forced to by that demonic entity.

Even if the photo of the soldier was posed for the show, it was still an intriguing photo. It was a good show. I'm still unsure if it was the photo that was haunted or just the perceptions of the woman who caused things. I try to keep an open mind, though.

That's because it airs on the Discovery Channel and Discovery channel claims they are based on true stories. Why should he claim any different?

It just would be helpful for people to know what type of movie and/or documentary they are downloading. It just seems like common courtesy to me.

anonymous007,

Go to http://tviv.org/A_Haunting

Notice that this third-party website has "A Haunting" as a "paranormal documentary". Your assumption that the series "A Haunting" is a movie was what was wrong. Therefore, instead of being a bad apple, and griping to someone (when you are incorrect in your assumption), YOU do your homework first.

Dorky did a very nice thing to upload the episodes. It is too bad that mediafire removed the uploads. I would have enjoyed watching them. I will look forward to watching them on Discovery Channel when they come on.

Ive seen all those and they are very good. Also so other people know this are not movies as some said here but they are reenactments of a actual cases.

To bad the links dont work anymore.

I always watch the show. It's unclear to me when their dramatizations follow straight from eyewitness testimony as opposed to being embellished by the writers. It is, after all, entertainment. But the fact that they intercut the reenactments with witness interviews really raises the quality and the credibility of the show, in my opinion. I just wish I knew exactly which parts were strictly factual and which were an exercise of artistic license.

I love this show. I don't know how real it is, I watch it for entertainment only, but it gives me the creeps!

I watch this show every thursday on the discovery channel....and I watch it for mere entertainment only...due to the fact I believe that all of the personal accounts are embellished for the sake of television.

Yes Dorky did a nice thing....it's just too bad I don't have Discovery Channel anymore.

If some uploaded it to another host...I'd be thankful also!
