Glossary Contributions & Suggestions

This thread will give site visitors the oppertunity to suggest additions to the new Glossary that was added to the site today.

If you are contributing a full definition along with a word suggestion, please note that it must be written in your own words, I cannot include anything that has been copied word for word from another web site.

Suggestions for the inclusion of words or terms that are not yet included in the Glossary are also much appreciated.

Incubus : A lewd male demon or goblin which takes on the illusory appearance of a male human being and seeks sexual intercourse with women, usually while they are asleep.

Succubus : A lewd female demon or goblin which takes on the illusory appearance of a female human being and seeks sexual intercourse with men, usually while they are asleep.

Astral Body : The soul of a person that is projected outside of their body. The invisible spirit of a person or an animal.

Beelzebub : One of Satan's chief lieutenants, considered Satan's "left hand man".

Automatic Writing : This is a communication with a ghost where the ghost controls a writer's hand and writes out messages. A person produces written material while controlled by a spirit, the person is not conscious of what they are writing. A person may write pages and pages of words that they do not remember writing when they come back to their conscious state.

Ouija Board : A board consisting of the letters of the alphabet, numbers 1-0, and the words "yes", "no", and "goodbye" which is used as a tool for communicating with spirits.

Thanks Lionel, I've now added Automatic Writing, Incubus, Succubus, Beelzebub, Achor and Ouija Board to the Glossary.

Thanks also to Blood Angel for his suggestions, Hynek Classification System, Close Encounters of the First Kind, Close Encounters of the Second Kind, Close Encounters of the Third Kind and 'LITS' have now been added to the glossary.
