SameerPrehistorica Posted February 25, 2007 #1 Share Posted February 25, 2007 the maximum weight was 190 tonnes,that was a female blue whale as everyone knows.. but,in many sites,they say blue whale is 200 tonnes.did really any other weighed over 200 or they are simply saying it because it reached near it... can anyone explain it Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Captain Rachael Posted February 26, 2007 #2 Share Posted February 26, 2007 (edited) I'm assuming if one did, you would definately be able to find some information about it somewhere, seeing that it would be the largest/heaviest ever recorded. Also, they may just be rounding it up, to compensate for the Blue Whales out there that havent been weighed.
