The sooner we promote an alternative to oil/petrol the better, eh?

With Exxon making the highest profit out of any company in the History of the World, dont look for it anytime soon, unless there is an extra buck to be made.

After all, you don't actually think we would invest all that money into attacking and occupying Iraq if we didn't think we'd get it back and then some once we privatize their oil feilds do you?

Here is another tidbit: It is against International law to invade a country and take a Nationalized industry (Iraqs oil was Nationalized) and privatize it.

It is so blatent.

It's imperialism plain and simple.

Now I am sure some genius is going to say how bad of guy Saddam was and all this and that so let me finish it before it starts:

If you don't know, we were selling Saddam chemical and biological agents and giving him aid, before, during, and after, his massacres. So we didn't care when it was happening, why would they all the sudden have a change of heart.

Wake up people.

Oh, and good stuff Rahl ;)

Rumours ? No, that's pretty much the deal with iraq's hydrocarbon law. It's not really a question of truth or lies, rumours or not rumours.. it's written in black and white and not to mention the blood of thousands of innocent iraqi's too. Thats why you went there for. Oh, maybe BP get a share, thats like the robber selling his friend a cheap dvd recorder he stole. But your opinion, its good for america.. its good for many.. doesn't mean a thing. It's like that same robber saying , look how many other people ive helped with cheap jewelry , look at how many covet my stolen goods. All well and good for you and the coveter's, pretty damn sh**ty for the one's whose property it was.

I don't like links, but here is one . One of your own congressmen who also heard these .. 'rumours' .

http://www.house.gov/mcdermott/sp070111.shtml

Words of a Congressman form one of the most Liberals States in the Union. I mean what do you expect to hear from him???

By the way, we are indeed in Iraq to make sure the flow of Oil in the FREE MARKET. Now what is so wrong with protecting commerce, been that way since who knows when.

None of you people were even alive when it happened so no, not one of you deserves any tribute for any part of that war,

any one who fought in it, fair enough pay him his dues,

but as for the rest of you, what did you do to deserve tribute. move on.

No tribute, but we do have the responsibility and duty to preserve what they fought for.
