How could we decode something from another planet? Seems odd. I hope this is true though, that would be really awesome!

Unfortunately, the truth will never be revealed so, I wouldn't be surprised if this article is the last thing we hear of this story. Its a real shame Governments all over the world treat their citizens like they are children and believe we can't handle the truth. I really hope I'm wrong about this but, I believe information like this wont be revealed until I'm long gone as well as my children and maybe perhaps their children's children. No matter who's in office, these policies related to cover ups never change so, we are doomed to being treated like a flock of mindless drones who don't need to know whats going on.

The president of the Tunguska Space Phenomenon research foundation told reporters that several quartz boulders with mysterious writings on them were found in the Tunguska river basin in 2006. The boulders were tested in Krasnoyarsk and Moscow and test results speak for the fact that they are of extraterrestrial origin, he said. The boulders were covered in strange signs of artificial origin, presumably made with plasma.Russian researchers suggested a hypothesis that the quartz tablets were parts of an information container delivered to Earth by the extraterrestrial spaceship that crashed in Tunguska region in 1908.Russian researcher also said that scientists from the United States, Britain, France and Germany have requested the newly-found artifacts for research, but Russians want to be the first people to decode the message from another civilization.

On June 30, an enormous explosion 1908 flattened hundreds of square miles of forest in a remote uninhabited region of western Siberia known as Tunguska. Thousands of fallen trees, pointed radially outward from the center of the blast. The sound of the explosion was heard half-way around the world in London, where it was assumed to just be a riot following a soccer match.

History

Surprisingly, there was little scientific curiosity about the impact at the time, possibly owing to the isolation of the Tunguska region. If there were any early expeditions to the site, the records were lost during the subsequent chaotic years — World War I, the Russian Revolution of 1917, and the Russian Civil War.

The first recorded expedition arrived at the scene more than a decade after the event. In 1921, the Russian mineralogist Leonid Kulik, visiting the Podkamennaya Tunguska River basin as part of a survey for the Soviet Academy of Sciences, deduced from local accounts that the explosion had been caused by a giant meteorite impact. He persuaded the Soviet government to fund an expedition to the Tunguska region, based on the prospect of meteoritic iron that could be salvaged to aid Soviet industry.

Photograph from Kulik's 1927 expedition.Kulik's party reached the site in 1927. To their surprise, no crater was to be found. There was instead a region of scorched trees about 50 kilometres (30 mi) across. A few near ground zero were still strangely standing upright, their branches and bark stripped off. Those farther away had been knocked down in a direction away from the center.

During the next ten years, there were three more expeditions to the area. Kulik found a little "pothole" bog that he thought might be the crater but after a laborious exercise in draining the bog, he found there were old stumps on the bottom, ruling out the possibility that it was a crater. In 1938, Kulik managed to arrange for an aerial photographic survey of the area, which revealed that the event had knocked over trees in a huge butterfly-shaped pattern. Despite the large amount of devastation, there was no crater to be seen.

Expeditions sent to the area in the 1950s and 1960s found microscopic glass spheres in siftings of the soil. Chemical analysis showed that the spheres contained high proportions of nickel and iridium, which are found in high concentrations in meteorites, hinting that they were of extraterrestrial origin[citation needed].

Detailed systematic eyewitness reports began to be gathered as late as 1959, when interviews were conducted with many of the indigenous people who had been within 100 kilometres (60 mi) of the explosion. Most of these accounts claimed that the local people had been covered with boils after the explosion, with whole families dying off. The medical scientists attached to the expedition concluded that there had been an epidemic of smallpox in the area at the time. Expeditions led by Gennady Plekhanov found no elevated levels of radiation, which would have been expected had the detonation been nuclear in nature.

Approximate location of the Tunguska event, in Siberia. At around 7:15 a.m., Tungus natives and Russian settlers in the hills northwest of Lake Baikal observed a column of bluish light, nearly as bright as the Sun, moving across the sky. About 10 minutes later, there was a flash and a loud "knocking" sound similar to artillery fire that went in short bursts spaced increasingly wider apart. Eyewitnesses closer to the explosion reported the sound source moving during each barrage, east to north. The sounds were accompanied by a shock wave that knocked people off their feet and broke windows hundreds of miles away. The majority of eyewitnesses reported only the sounds and the tremors, and not the sighting of the explosion; to different eyewitnesses the sequence of events and their overall duration is also different.

The explosion registered on seismic stations across Eurasia, and produced fluctuations in atmospheric pressure strong enough to be detected by the recently invented barographs in Britain. Over the next few days, night skies were aglow such that one could read in their light. In the United States, the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory and the Mount Wilson Observatory observed a decrease in atmospheric transparency that lasted for several months.

According to the Guinness Book of World Records (1966 edition), if the collision had occurred 4 hours 47 minutes later, it would have wiped out St. Petersburg, due to the rotation of the Earth.

Think about that

Wiki is good for something, OK. This happened on June 30, 1908. I put links to a video showing something like a gigantic comet over Turkey exploding in 2001. Between the years is approximately 100 years. Read that fourth from last paragraph and that will tell you what killed off the dinosaurs and everything else. And why we have so much disease on the ground now.

***

Iridium is notable for being the most corrosion resistant element known and for its significance in the determination of the probable cause of the demise, by a meteorite strike, of the dinosaurs.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iridium

KT Boundary

Main article: Cretaceous-Tertiary extinction event

The KT event of 65 million years ago, marking the temporal border between the Cretaceous and Tertiary eras of geological time, was identified by a thin stratum of iridium-rich clay. A team led by Luis Alvarez (1980) proposed an extraterrestrial origin for this iridium, attributing it to an asteroid or comet impact near what is now Yucatán Peninsula. Their theory is widely accepted to explain the demise of the dinosaurs. Dewey M. McLean and others argue that the iridium may have been of volcanic origin instead. The Earth's core is rich in iridium, and Piton de la Fournaise on Réunion, for example, is still releasing iridium today.

Whatever caused this big event is likely to lead to our extinction. The bible tells of the extinction of the dinos and all of the party-people then, you know, the big talented rocks falling from the sky. That was probably big rocks blown out of volcanoes.

But, the interesting finding is that 'plasma writing' on the quartz rocks in the region of the Tunguska meteorite. If I can get that video again of that meteor over Turkey it might explain a lot. I'll find it and put it here later.

It was on November 1, 2002.

UFO SIGHTED WITH BREAKING METEOR

Turkey - November 1, 2002

In one of the best documented sightings on record an UFO escorted an exploding meteor across Turkey on November 1, 2002. The first 12 witnesses to report the event were members of six airline crews, four in the air and two on the ground. Their initial reports were supported by video footage provided by witnesses who came forward in the week after the spectacular sighting to augment a photo taken by one of the pilots. Video footage of the event shows the UFO and meteor traveled from west to east at a low altitude of 40,000 feet in a commercial airline zone over a populated area. The photo above was extracted from the video and the UFO's location circled in red.

The rogue meteor entered the atmosphere 18 days before the annual Leonids meteor shower on November 18-19 and after a period of severe magnetic storming and solar winds result from high solar activity in October. This was the second time in recent years that an unexpected and unannounced meteor appeared prior to a regularly announced meteor shower. "For eons our planet has dwelled among giant boulders that occasionally smack into it with catastrophic results. Why do the killer stones orbit nearby? According to a new report, the sun could be to blame." (CNN) Possibly not as large as the meteor that extinguished the dinosaurs 65 millions years ago and carved the Gulf of Mexico out of a continent, reported in "Adding up the Risks of Cosmic Impact" (MSNBC), the meteor over Turkey was certainly large enough to change the face of any area it struck. Meteors begin disintegrating when entering the earth's atmosphere, and the large size of pieces at low altitude over Turkey indicates the meteor would have been very largen when it first entered the atmosphere.

The UFO and meteor debris over Turkey provides the best documentation of spectacular meteor behavior since 1991,when object 1991VG was discovered in November 1991. While astronomers studied the newly discovered asteroid, it broke into pieces in December 1991. A large piece of 1991VG began to rotate and glow before a near miss with the earth in January 1992. Astronomers at Kitt Peak National Observatory in Arizona (USA) called the strange behavior of 1991VG "a fairly unique discovery", and astronomers began a debate about what really happened with 1991VG that continued for years. Asteroid 1991VG gave new life to the specter of monster asteroids. The modern asteroid hunt was on after the near miss by 1991VG Congress allocated funds to study near-earth orbits (NEO) and asteroid deflection in early 1992.

A meteor explosion over New Zealand on July 7, 1999 offered a close view of a meteor exploding low in the earth's atmosphere. This meteor was first detected June 27, 1999 as the the annual Taurid meteor shower was beginning but was not part of the Taurid meteors. A photo of the meteor over New Zealand provides both a point of comparison for the photo and video over Turkey in November 2002 and a UFO in the area where a meteor exploded. Reports of the exploding meteor and UFO activity in the area at the time are on the TimeStar web site.

A Turkish UFO group, Sirius UFO documented reports and evidence for the UFO sighting. The group found that while the meteor and UFO were clearly observed and photographed, they did not appear on radar. This provides further support for the UFO account, because conventional objects would have been detected on radar. UFO's have been reported to avoid radar detection since the UFO movement began in the 1940's. The Sirius UFO group theorizes that the horizontal (rather than falling) path of the meteor was the result of the technological ability of the UFO directing the meteor. The extraterrestrial technology also evaded radar detection that would not have been otherwise possible.

Let's take a look at paths of the UFO and rocket debris (Soyuz RB) that both entered the atmosphere on November 1, 2002.

Airborne pilot Bulent Demirturk observed an object at 40,000 feet traveling in the opposite direction of the rocket debris: "...we spotted a mass of light moving from West due East... When it came to the position 12 o'clock, we saw a mass of red light in front of it, small light formations stretching back behind it and one more blinking light on its rear edge as if it were the beacon of an airplane." Bulent Demirturk, Pilot, First Officer

Pilot Demirturk's observations concur with observations of two airline crews on the ground and three other crews in the air as well as numerous witnesses throughout Turkey.

http://www.timestar.org/news.htm

And I have been thinking about that and connecting that with either the UFOs are riding on these comets or, as in the one over Turkey, whatever it was may have been dropping stuff in our atmosphere like some people have been talking about with their stuff that stops communication in a city, 'electromagnetic blasts' or EMPs.

Lmao Paz Unum :P So people r trying to decode this? Good luck getting it right! They mite mistake it for the complete opposite thing, that humans may believe the end or 'start' of the world, one or the other! Plus wat if these aliens guys don't have a language like us where we use different sounds, maybe they meow like cats or bark like dogs - not a 'solid' (Clear) language or maybe theres a different word or sound for everything + more! How can us humans dicifer that language? Even if it is written out...

Human just dicifered Egiptian language, so I think there is nothing that human beings can't do. Its all a matter of time. It could take months, years, decades, but not long ago ppl said that many things would be impossible, others thought in the future, a computer would weight tons and so... But we can make computers smaller than a teeth brush. So, what if this is true and someday someone finds out what it means...?

You'd think the aliens would still use whatever language they wrote the ten commandments in... Moses managed to decipher that! :D

Seriously, you’d think they would use mathematics, that should be constant and understandable wherever you go... IMO

Because of the Rosetta stone, discovered in 1799, it had writing in two Egyptian language scripts (hieroglyphic and demotic) and in classical Greek... :)

We could only decipher the Egyptian writing system via the Rosetta stone, it held Greek writing along side the Egyptian writing system.

The Russian scientists - if the writing on the artifacts are genuine and from an extraterrestrial origin - can never decipher the writing due to the fact that we have nothing to compare it to. =/

No, the spacecraft that appariently exploded in 1908 in a desolate area, exploded just before it hit the ground leaving only destruction, no crater or anything else.

just as someone said earlier, even if this is true we will never know. Someone will cover it up and say "its ancient dead fossilzed plants forming whats looks like symbols" Or some BS like that.

Ok, this would be really revolutionary if its true, not only because it will prove the existance of extraterrestrials, but because if we are able to decode it,it will prove the governments have been lying to us for some time about what they know about them. Because to decode it,we will need something to use, like the roseta stone for egypt. this will mean that they have had some prof of extraterrestrials such as a craft or something with writing on it.

That's convenient - if it turns out that it isn't of alien origin and it is published as such, then you can simply say that "they" are hiding "the truth". You have the perfect, self supporting, delusion!
