It is a scientific fact, people who don't smoke are boring.

Except women, they're allowed not to smoke and still be interesting.

Never a truer word Billy, all the great thinkers enjoyed a smoke, Einstein, Newton, Freud, Hawking

Because to be without vice, is to be cleansed to the point of sterility of mind....

Aaaah, you gotta love Bill Hick. RIP.

Of course Bill Hicks did eventually give up smoking. And then started right back up again when he realised he was dieing!

We have had it in Australia for a while now, but what makes me angry are the people who blantently ignor the no smoking policy, light up, smoke and then toss their butts on the ground when their is a bin about 5m away. I work with a good number of people who do smoke, and at the door of our office are gardens on either side, which are lovingly planted with BUTTS, when their is a butt disposal bin provided- its not a nice thing to look at and its bad for our environment.

I personally believe smoking is the most disgusting habit and think anyone who thinks they look cool or stylist (even those actor/ress, famous people) actually look unhealthy and stupid.

If you want to smoke fine- but do it where there are no non smokers- or at least have respect for the environment.

I know the government wants to bring in a ban on smoking in cars with children- and i can see the pros and cons. Pros: children will not be exposed to harmful smoke. Cons: its my child and i can bring him/her up how i want and do what i want in my own car.

And for thoses smokers who are complaining about going outside to smoke- what about those non smokers who want to take a breath of fresh (smokey) air or go outside themselves????

I’m fed up of non-smokers breathing in my smoke. I mean, I paid for the cigarettes so why should they get it for free?

It's funny... Nicotine, although highly addictive is - in itself - not all that harmful. It's just all the tar and other crap in ciggerettes that are the major problem of second hand smoke, lung cancer, mouth cancer, blockages in the arteries. Whereas alcohol is the most dangerous drug to be addicted to, if you were a major alcoholic and you tried going cold turkey, your body would seizure and shutdown after only a short while and it's totally legal.

But still, atelast us non-smokers won't get lung cancer from second hand smoke~
