Ok, this is another picture which was passed to my friend, who is currently and tirelessly campaigning in our local community....this photo is being submitted as evidence, and will hopfully contribute to the closing of a few bars in the area, these bars are spilling out at nigh with drunken men & even more drunken women, flashing their modesty with no regard for public heath & decency...

Ive taken the liberty of censoring the most offending aspects of the photo, for the sake of shielding the high moral values of the more sophisticated UM female members...

*Sigh* On a serious note, I don't understand why people are raising their daughters to have no class or self respect. I have gone out drinking many times, and I have never once acted like this. It doesn't bother me that these women feel the need to "express themselves", it bother's me that they can't do it at home.

Yes i second that Ships...anyway, the original programme was on BB3, it wasnt a Panorama doc, but it highlighted the growing trend amogst women drinking aggressively, the programme suggested that these days, since women now earn money & hold equally good jobs, that this has opened up a new social scene, where more and more bars now, are opened & designe specifically for women...

the programme also suggests that testostrone in women rises while drunk, where with men it apparently lowers...........this was the basic out line....and is for these reason that more women are fighting & generally sleeping around more (regular drunk one night stands)...

ofcourse its not all womens fault, but ultimately i believe women have more to loose (emotionally) than men in the long term, not to mention the amount of STD's there are around these days....

1st off you need both the man and the woman for both to "sleep" around. And if they want to sleep around how has thatgot anything to do with you??

I know many guys who get very angry and aggessive when drinking- not nessecarily drunk. I for one never get aggresive, just very happy and talk- but i always go out with my partner (who doesnt drink because of his sporting caree) and i never over do it- ever i know my limits (about 3-5drinks!!! then i need to go to bed- to sleep though-only with my parnter)

If testosteron rises in females and lowers in males- then both would be of the same level.

I understand your "concern" for woman parading themselves around under the influence, but your not a female so how can you say we have more to loose emotionally than a man?? Men usually hid their emotions- and women put theirs on show more.

But my opinion on guys behaving in the same way is this, guys can get away with this type of behavior on the basis that, a drunk girl is an easy target for rape & other sexual crimes against them, adding to that women arent emotionally equipt to handle this surge of testostarone which Booze induces, which ultimately leaves them at the mercy of their own conscience, but because of modern beliefs, they justyfy themselve as being empowerd...40 men down the line, they realise the error of their ways & then expect to sucker in some poor fool & make out they are some sort of angel!!

My son was involved with a women like this, as soon as he found out, he ended it, by saying..girl...the damage is done, so i guess ill be, guess ill be leaving.

That IMO is blantently sexist. Why can a man get away with it? His is in the same situation that the woman is in- he can still get raped and have other sexual crimes done against him. He can still get into a fight, he can still catch an std, he could go home with someone he didnt want to and wake up the next morning in deep regreat not knowing what happened. This behaviour has affects on all involved- regardless of being male or female. And there is no use arguing men cant be rapes- take a tour in jails- it proves it. Men are also liess likely to report anything of that matter because its not masculin, and affects their egos, oh and emotions.

How dare you state that woman arent eqiped to handle testosterone- you have NO idea what so ever about woman and how we function- so stop trying to lecture females on what they can and cant do- you IMO are very sexist.

I noticed for the most part that this been a predominately male thread. Anyway, I agree with what you said aussiemermaid Lord S is generalising which is not right. I believe it's only a minorty of woman that behave like the examples his 'friend' has been photographing. There's always going to be a few in every night scene crowd that go overboard, that can not be denied, BUT both genders are as bad for doing so, so why single out just females for this?

...And to photograph such things for the internet is pretty perverse if you ask me. I hope the 'friend' at least had the moral decency to make sure that girl was ok and got home safely in return for exploiting her. ( she looks pretty unconscious to me)

I know within my crowd of friends when we used to go out to nightclubs, none of us ever ended up in such a state that we were flat out on the street and willing to go home with any stranger. We can enjoy a drink and still remain in a perfectly decent manner and under control. We also found that if a night was disrupted it would always be sleaze bag male related. On one occasion our taxi was actually hi jacked by 2 men who attempted to pull the driver out of the car window and while we are on the subject, men are just as bad for flashing their backsides and bits in public and worse - urinating on anything they possibly can.

It is sad when people get so intoxicated that they lose their inhibitions like this and I agree it's not funny in the slightest...but it's equally appalling of those who take advantage. Perhaps it's a immaturity thing with a certain age group who think the aim of the night is to get as wasted as possible, personally i don't see the fun in socially disabling yourself or spending the night hugging the toilet.

I think someone else brought this up and said, shouldn't the focus be on those who prey on such an easy target. And as far as STD's and unprotected sex goes it takes 2, if it's a case of both parties being equally intoxicated to not care, then why does the old thing of the male = stud and female = whore, come to surface?

I'll be very careful to use "yob" in the proper context to avoid this confusion as I spread use of the word in the United States.

For example:

ME: "Hey, Tommy, check out those yobs vommiting on the sidewalk over there!"

TOMMY: "Whoa! Sexy!"

Or, in the bar:

"Do any of you yobs want to dance -- that is, if you can stand up long enough?"

I’ve noticed it’s been mentioned a few times in this thread, so I’d like to address the old ‘women who slept around are considered to be ‘cheap’ where blokes who do the same are considered to be studs’

There’s a simple reason for this- and that is- because we’re not on an equal playing field. It’s all about how much effort is involved.

Example- If the average women stands up in the middle of a bar or pub and shouts out “I want sex, any takers?”

There’ll be a queue of men!-

Little effort on behalf of the woman.

However, if the average bloke does the same, stands up in the middle of a bar/pub and shouts out "Who wants sex?"

With regard taking the photo's, he was more concerned for his own walfare! Not only were those girls displaying aggressive behavour, but they were also accompanied by some very tough looking Jamaican men, I truly hope my friends moral campaign of "photo evidence" pays off, our local councillors must take note!

Now regarding men getting away with flashing themselves & being regarded as studs, while women get labelled whores is this...

If you look at the animal world, you will see that the male of the spieces of most animals behaves in the same way......its natures way
