I am from lufkin, but am in galveston right now camping at the state park. thank god for their free wi fi, can anyone tell me any good places in galveston to look at as far as hauntings. Its quite interesting that you've got more in detail than he has, however be very careful in your exploring during night and also keep us update and i will regularly visit your account that you have in myspace for new pictures. Blueguardian Posted July 4, 2007 #379 Share Posted July 4, 2007 Alot of the tombs and concrete coverings in the yard have been broken and alot of the graves have been dug up as if they were moving them or someone is grave robbing them. thats possibly done by the cults and used for the rituals they perform, some cults even require people to bring a human skull to gain membership. what kinds of symbols did you find out of curiosity? can you draw them in microsoft pain or even on paper and scan them in. i pray that you are protected from whatever the hell is out there. Hi Nemonic-Hunter, My group has originally toured the area and we did manage to get one EVP. The sounding was taken from JuleNTX and the sound was indicating "Washington" after we asked who was in the area. I was in the area about three to four weeks ago and chased a noise in the woods north of the overpass. Please contact me as I have some valuable information if interested. Please, whatever you do, don't mess the cemetery up more than it already is. By the way, there is a road right next to the underpass that leads to the cemetery. Just hop the gate and follow it; much safer than following the tracks, especially at night. Edit: I've lived in Humble nearly all my life and have never heard of Santa Ana coming through here. The abandoned equipment is from the oil boom days, one of the old saw mills, or from the train company, and the farther back that way you go, the more you will find. nemonic-hunter Posted July 7, 2007 #386 Share Posted July 7, 2007 yes thats how we found it in the first place. only thing is when you start to find recently desicrated graves and wood clearing that has been there a while like someone stopped and ran off, then you start to wonder why they ran off. also ill mention again, the markings and the tags all over the place. plus the fact that we found alot of stuff recently changed. especially between visits. nemonic-hunter Posted July 10, 2007 #388 Share Posted July 10, 2007 !Update! well we went out there again, except this time we went south on the rail road tracks going past the old church/putt putt golf center. we found a bunch of trails that lead to behind the old theater. also found a bunch of dead animals. the wierd thing about that area was the was the trees and the vines grew. its like they were hiding something. i shot video of the whole thing. we took one of the trails and we uncovered some interesting stuff but we got chased out of the area by an unknown force. we are gonna do another investigation of the cemetery area as soon as we can recruit some people that want to go with us. need like 2 more people. Dragnskull Posted July 14, 2007 #392 Share Posted July 14, 2007 Hello everyone, I apologize for not responding for so long, life bogged me down >.> I'd like to add that a few months ago i was with a girl, after we watched a movie, i mentioned the railroad tracks (it was a few months after posting my first comment on this site) she wanted to go see, so i took her. we went to the railroad tracks and walked them for a while, at first we didnt notice anything, we were just walking, talking, flirting, u know, what young people do best but after a few minutes, something TOTALLY ruined the mood. we were walking and suddenly i noticed, something was following us in the woods. i heard rustling going from the brush that was to the west of us. we were standing directly on the track, about 40ft south of bestbuy, and directly to our side (west) in the very beginning of the woods and weeds, we heard something rustle. at first i figured 'ehh, its just a bunny" but i couldnt see anything, ive gone hunting quite a few times, and thats what it seemed like, rabbit or coon' just walking through but after a few more moments of this, i started to get worried. most animals will NOT literally FOLLOW you. whatever this was, was actually walking up and down the tracks with us, but staying out of sight. when we would walk it would walk, you could hear the russtling of the woods, but if we stopped moving, it would come to a halt as well. the only reason we noticed it at first is because when we stopped, it would still be moving for a moment before it stopped (Simon Says theory ) after noticing it literally following us (we were walking both up and down the tracks, and it was right next to us the entire time) i took stick i had (due to the gravel on the sides, i used a stick to help get me and her up it without slipping, darkness + loose rocks = owwy)which i chunked at the direction the sound was going in, figuring that it was just some animal and i would scare it away. well when i threw the stick, everything got quiet...me and her started walking with me constantly telling her to calm down its just an animal (actually i was freaked out, but i didnt want HER freaking out yaknow?) and after a few paces, i heard it rustle back through from where it had stopped moving, right back up with us...thats when i told her "okay look, i was just bluffing, i have no clue what that is, can we get the hell outa here?" we went back the way we came ASAP and got back to the car and left. i had enough for one night -.- I'm also going to try to get to everyones questions: Hey, David, do you think it would be possible to take a few pictures of the gate and road that leads to the cemetery? I don't have a digital camera and my scanner is busted. actually i dont have any clue where the road and cemetary is, i would love to do it, if someone could give me directions for getting there, im actually interested in going to the moved cemetary, but ive never seen it before, i have a bunch of hunches as to where its at, but no clue on -where- it is. so is this church still there? from what i know, the church is a storage area, i believe i know which one but im not 100% sure Hi Dragonskull, What time did you walk on the tracks? Was it raining before your walk? Was the fog already in the air while walking and was it visible for the naked? it was late, those pictures were probably taken around 11-12pm, it had been raining off and on, but no, that entire day was clear as can be, and the closest body of water was pretty far behind us.the fog was NOT in the air when we were walking, we never saw -anything- and not all the pictures came out like that, i took about 20 pictures, most had nothing, but the ones i posted had what you see. The church is gone and a storage building was built in its place. I have a few items in storage with them right now. Mostly my hunting equipment. Nothing weird yet, but plan to have my items blessed before taking them to the hunting lease. mind telling me exactly what storage place it is? id love to know for sure which one it is... I plan on going sometime soon. Is the entrance near the Best Buy and Home Depot area, or is it under the 1960 overpass? ive gone by the 1960 overpass and im sure theres an openning in the fence SOMEWHERE, but for me, my favorite area to go in is behind home depot, because its easy access, close video recorded parking lot for your car, and a fairly easy escape route back into civilization incase something very bad were to happen Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Also we were walking along some railroad tracks. My wife is the one speaking and she told all of us to be quiet. The EVP occurs at just after 50 seconds in. We used a high quality digital voice recorder that uses dual mics for stereo sounds. At the time of the occurance, both mics were pointed in the direction of the woods. Other than the questions asked, were you and your wife still and silent during the recording? I ask because there are a lot of shuffling sounds in the audio. After you asked "Why do you stay here", it sounds like someone is shuffling papers. I live in Houston and my girlfriend and I have been haunted by a few different ghosts for the last few months. I'll see if I can get my EVP online at some point, but I have the sound of a little girl sighing, among strange clicks, knocks and pops.
