Blair as ME peace envoy ?

Not been announced yet but to even consider it seems ridiculous. He is universally known as Bush'e little lap dog, how can he possibly be considered an impartial mediator by both sides ? Has he not noticed that the war in Iraq is still ongoing ? The demonstrations against his 'war-crimes' in his own country never mind in the islamic world and even the fact that he is from the UK, hardly considered a friend of the arabs at the moment ?

If this does happen I am not going to get my hopes too high, maybe he will do half a job by getting some sort of shaky, unresolved, temporary treaty between Israel and Fatah which is on the cards anyway as a 'enemy of my enemy is my friend' sort of thing.

Even if he was considered a messiah in the muslim world considering he broke every one of his manifesto promises to the British public his word means nothing and he obviously cannot be trusted. Education, education, education :D

Why wont Blair just disappear off to the US lecture circuit and do us all a favour.

Only if you take Bush. It is only fair after all.

Well, its confirmed. Seems a peculiar choice but I wish him the best of luck. He's gonna need it.
