Being from Amish Country, PA.. I wouldn't mind living in Bird-In-Hand :P As stated above, there's Intercourse, Blue Ball, Paradise and Virginville... :lol:

And how could anyone forget the Republic of Djibouti in Africa. And it's capital is Djibouti.

And there's a town in Virginia called Lynch.

I live in Washington state... we have interesting town's/locations that generally make this list... the number one being the:

Humptulips river (pronounced hump-too-lips, basically just how it's spelled)

The Hoh River Rainforest (pronounced Ho)

Tulalip WA (two-lay-lip)

Then there's everyone's favorite ****et Thailand, which is near the Pi Pi islands pronounced Pee Pee.

Then there's a town near me called Issaquah. The old joke is that it got it's name when Lewis and Clark rolled through the area, saw a native woman and pointed her out and said "Look Louis! It's a Squaw!" The name is pronounced Iss-ah-cwah

one of my favorite river names around here is the "Skookumchuck" river... it's just plain fun to say. hahah.

ya gotta wonder when people come up with town names not a single person says "hey now look... I'm all for naming our town... but come on guys Intercourse.. we really want our town named intercourse?" ... thats just me though cause if I was at one of those town meetings there would be no way I'm living in some place called balls bridge for crying out loud

I live close to intercourse Pa but there are also small towns around intercourse with strange names as well. There is Hell, PA and not far from that is cemetary hill, PA. I don't think the entire population of either towm is oveer 500 people and I can see why.
