Dad visit
Image is believed to be in the public domain.

Uploader comment: I had a large dining room table in this room and my Dad would sit at the seat by the door always. After he passed, my dog would jump around and play with someone, or would be scared to go over to this area. Now my Dad loved to mess with dogs, so I knew it had to be him and I would tell him to stop aggravating the dog. One day, my pup would not stop for five minutes barking and growling, so I told my daughter to go give Papa a hug and to lean down because he would be sitting. This is what we got???!!! Now we figured it was just the lights and the shadows, but we tried duplicating this picture for fifteen minutes and could not.

It's pretty obvious that the girl is playing with the dog and not hugging anybody. It's also obvious that the image you're talking about is from light shining through a suspended object, like a light fixture or decorative ornament. It's a cute story. Claiming that you tried to debunk it yourself is a nice touch.

Forward Earth -The dog was barking at that time -he is backing away from that area-as for the suspended object ??? took it with my Iphone- these are images that were from a video- so nice touch on acting like a jerk

Assuming this images wasn't edited to create a simple effect, I really don't know what that is. It kind of looks like an odd shadow on the wall behind her hand, but it also kind of looks like it's in midair. Too tough to really tell with eyes alone. Would have to run some filters on it in an image editing program. to have a better look.
