'Possessed' cars in Cornish Bermuda Triangle

Image Credit: sxc.hu The strange series of events began when locals discovered that their car doors would spontaneously lock and unlock for no discernible reason. Sometimes the phenomenon would result in someone being trapped inside their vehicle while at other times they would be unable to get in.

The problem only seems to be affecting a specific set of streets within the village but has to date been reported by more than 30 car owners.The phenomenon has become such a nuisance that the area has been dubbed "The Summercourt Triangle" while locals have taken to suggesting that the cars have been "possessed".

Several drivers have attempted to fix the issue by changing their key fobs or by taking their cars in to a garage but nothing has helped. A local school secretary has also expressed her concerns about the dangers posed by the problem after a child was found locked inside a car.

Investigations are ongoing but to date the mystery remains unsolved.
