Loveland Frog

A completely bizarre creature that was sighted several times in Loveland Ohio from 1952 onwards. The creature was often witnessed in groups and was described as a human sized bipedal frog.

The first witness to the creature was a businessman driving along a country road in Loveland Ohio when he noticed some odd looking animals at the side of the road. He pulled over to get a better look and couldn't believe what he was seeing. A number of strange amphibian-like creatures were moving along the side of the road. He claimed later that one of them "took out a wand like object and produced glowing sparks". A search of the area later revealed no signs of the creatures.

Nothing had been seen of the strange creatures for 20 years when in 1972 a policeman who was driving along that exact same road spotted an odd beast crouched down at the side of the road. A few seconds later the frog-like creature stood up to reveal its true size and then disappeared down an embankment towards a nearby river. 2 weeks later a similar animal was witnessed by another policeman on the same road. The policeman took a shot at the animal but missed as it scurried away into the undergrowth.
