The sensing of sights, sounds, smells and touch without the use of the known five senses. Spiritualist mediums often experience ESP, in particular during a trance. This form of extrasensory perception is known as clairvoyance, clairaudience or clairsentience depending on the nature of what the medium senses.
Extrasensory perception is thought by some to exist in everyone to varying degrees, some people believe that the ability to sense a presence or someone watching them from a distance to be an example of this.
