Gef the talking mongoose

UM-Bot

Recommended Posts

user posted image rIn September of 1931 in a small farm house on the Isle of Man, the Irving family began hearing odd sounds coming from the attic of the home. Initially, they sounded like a wild animal moving around, but after a time the 'animal' began making sounds reportedly similar to those of a baby learning how to speak.

It then began to mimic words spoken by the Irvings, much in the fashion of a parrot.

Haha, I never heard of this tale before. A mongoose who speaks fluent English with a British accent. Sounds sophisticated! But then again, it was a little gossip! They spoke of pictures. I wonder if some can be found on the Internet?

I've heard of this before. The Full Article linked above shows a pic of little footprints. Are they supposed to be Gef footprints?
