...though some prominent names have spoken out in his defense, including famed primatologist Jane Goodall. “Well now, you’ll be amazed when I tell you that I’m sure that they exist,” Goodall told National Public Radio in a 2002 interview. “I’ve talked to so many Native Americans who all describe the same sounds, two who have seen them.” So much for no scientist believes in Bigfoot. The emminent Dr. Goodall is a trained primatologist with decades of field work, so her opinion... yes, opinion, should carry some weight.

Despite hoax, Bigfoot still attracts believers Well we are no closer or further from the truth than we were before the hoax, it changed nothing. So why wouldn't people still believe?

*speaking kindly* It's not supposed to be a picture of Bigfoot, Euthenasia, merely an illustration for the article. I didn't know that Goodall believed in them. It is all so improbable. He didn't believe in them himself because he'd been all over those woods and felt that surely, if there was a community of these enormous creatures living there somewhere, there'd have been definite signs, dead bodies, someone would have stumbled across their lairs . . . something. I'm glad the m... [More]

The closest thing to a bigfoot is a gorilla. When will folks accept this?? If bigfeet haven't been found YET, then they will never be-

Well we are no closer or further from the truth than we were before the hoax, it changed nothing. So why wouldn't people still believe? Agreed. The tone of the article is "See - Bigfoot was once again proven to be a hoax. But many people will still go on believing that Bigfoot does (or could) exist." It's a spin, nothing more.

I am with believing the native Americans.Their people have lived on this land far longer than us outsiders and they all have story's of the crazy bear. I believe them to be true. Not finding a carcass is no proof that they don't exist.I lived in a heavily forested area and rarely saw dead animals other than road kill. Even in a city where there are birds and squirrels and other critters about, you normally don't see dead ones. I remember reading about a sighting in Oregon of one running down the median of the freeway trying to get over it in broad daylight and it was witnessed by numerous motor... [More]
