Contender confirmed for world's tallest man

When 27-year-old Zhao Liang underwent foot surgery at a Chinese hospital recently doctors discovered that he was four inches taller than the current world record holder for world's tallest man, Bao Xishun.

"A contender for world's tallest man underwent foot surgery at a Chinese hospital where doctors confirmed he is 10 centimetres (four inches) taller than the current title-holder, state press said Tuesday."
