Medical experts are hailing transcendental meditation as an ideal way to treat high blood pressure.
A worldwide movement was started in 1957 by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi with celebrities such as The Beatles embracing the technique. Recent studies have suggested that meditation is more beneficial to dealing with the stresses of everyday life than a good diet or exercise.
