The world's first Klingon opera opens

The world's first opera performed entirely in the Klingon language is under way in The Hague, Netherlands.
Produced by the Zeebelt Theatre the opera is performed by the Terran Research Ensemble in the language invented and made famous by its appearances on the popular science fiction series Star Trek.
The first ever Klingon opera is under way in The Hague, Netherlands. The production at the Zeebelt Theatre is being performed entirely in Klingon by the Terran Research Ensemble.

I love star trek.. and I am not ashamed to admit that I'd go to it (if it comes to my neck of the woods) It's entertainment... it's kitchy.. it's fun!

Have those people really nothing better to do? Some people really have useless ideas what a waste of time for me it is an UNEXPLAINED MYSTERY why people waste their time with this crap

Got nothing against the idea, HOWEVER, much as I love Star Trek (always, since I was a kid in the 60's), Why o why can't hollywood or broadway or even the Netherlands figure out that science fiction is this huge untapped resource. I'm so tired of seeing films based on comics I could cry. I've read a lot in the last 40 years lot's of the novels later went on to become films, except for the sci fi novels (not including Phillip K. Dick thankfully). Like I said I'm a trekkie but I'm ready to let it die, as long as they start doing Sci fi like it deserves. With today's CGI there's no excuse for not... [More]
