Confectioner creates edible masterpieces

Jean Zaun has whipped up edible versions of Van Gogh and Da Vinci's finest works of art.
Made using food ingredients like melted chocolate, sugar, glaze and food colouring instead of conventional paints Zaun has created a myriad of edible masterpeaces. "The paintings are edible but they are meant to be consumed by the eye, not the stomach," she says.At first glance, these real life paintings look like they could have been painted by Vincent Van Gogh himself. But these unusal reproductions of the artist's most famous pieces are sure to be a hit with anyone who has a sweet tooth.
