Siberia is to ramp up its studies of the legendary Yeti following a number of recent sightings.
Experts at Kemerovo University are hoping to prove that the creature exists and believe that the setting up of an official research institute would be the next logical step towards doing so. "In Russia there are about 30 authoritative scientists who are engaged in studying the phenomenon of the abonimable snowman," says Dr. Igor Burtsev.
Hominology experts, who are lined up to lead the studies at Kemerovo University, are eager to prove their existence after people in remote parts of the region claim to have caught a glimpse of the elusive being.

It's not the first time you wrote "Siberia" as "Serbia". It's totally different thing.

I, for one, would not want to volunteer to probe a yeti.

Besides the common article errors we see here, this is good news for the crypto-community. Either donors are beginning to take Yeti sightings seriously, or they had a lot of extra cash in the grant pool

Could be another move by natives to exploit yeti-hunters. This is what I was thinking.

Why should UFO abduction victims be the only ones getting probed? Probe the yetis!!!! Honestly though, I hope they find something, could be neanderthals, H. Erectus, or maybe just some Hobo-Sapiens. No pics?? Damn! I was hoping for some Blob-squatch pics at least.
