A set of 70 books found in Jordan are being hailed as a find more important than the Dead Sea Scrolls.
They were discovered somewhere between 2005 and 2007 and are now being kept in Israel, however the Jordanian government is fighting to get them back. The books are thought to be one of the earliest Christian writings ever found and could hold vital details about the death and resurrection of Jesus.
They could be the earliest Christian writing in existence, surviving almost 2,000 years in a Jordanian cave. They could, just possibly, change our understanding of how Jesus was crucified and resurrected, and how Christianity was born.

I love how biased you are... "who are searching for the truth and admit the fraud". So everyone who doesn't believe in it - is right... even though it is still under debate (for the shroud and the metal books). Well, I know for sure which side you will be on, whether or not this confirms religious beliefs or some other belief. Way to think scientifically and be unbiased. /sarcasm Also, look up what scrolls mean before you throw the word around, because those things clearly are not scrolls. First of all I didn't make up the word scroll it's in the title. Technically a scroll is usually mad of p... [More]

The following is the mail from David Elkington to Dr. Thonemann On 15 September 2010, I received the following email out of the blue from a certain David Elkington (whose name you will find in all these various news reports) – I’ve edited out only those bits which would reveal the mutual acquaintance:“Dear Dr. Thonemann, In relation to a discovery that I have been investigating in the Middle East I was given your email address by a friend […]. I am a biblical historian and specialist in the field of Christian and Hebrew origins. I'm working with Prof. Philip Davies of Sheffield Univers... [More]

The information that these books may contain is increadible. Also, why is it that the books were found in Jordan caves but now in Isreal. I read reports the books were smuggled over the border, but the credibilty seems slim. Were the books purchased? How did they get into Isreal? Would really like to more about this mystery. Cheers, Aj Ps: could someone tell me about metal books? I've never heard of a "metal" book.

Thank you Spartan, suspected as much, can't recall a point in space and time where I had ever heard of texts from that ancient period being inscribed on metal anything in any great length at all ...

How come the 'Bronzebook of Britian' has never been made public? That is interesting that they come out with that now. Written by the close followers of Jesus? The Vatican is controlling the things you know about Jesus Christ.

http://www.lifeslittlemysteries.com/early-christian-lead-codices-proven-fakes-1566/ Awful, isn't it? Such a shame someone is always looking for fame or money from something that is supposed to be about faith.
